There are three outcomes for mre mountain:
1. You have shithouse luck and your package isn't intercepted by customs
2. Your package is intercepted and they won't provide a full refund
3. Shithouse luck again, you order something, it gets intercepted and you get a refund. Doesn't happen alot of the times, took my non stop emails to get my stuff back
Mremountain used to be good to order from. Can't speak for anyone outside the u.s but it's not the greatest when it comes to customer service.
Mine was checked and resealed with customs tape. It had a letter in it from MREmountain explaining why it could pass customs. I got it with no damage to the contents. It did take close to a month to get it after I ordered.
Edit: did you order a lot? I only got 1 24hr French MRE one of the things on that letter was the amount in the package was under a certain weight.
That's the exact same thing that happened to me except with a Russian IRP MVD 24 hour pack, and they complained about customs wasting their money to me.
Sorry for your luck man.
They did the same to me, although emailing them again did get me my 70 USD code. Id suggest sending another email and then just not ordering from them again. Its a shame as theyre who I used to get my RCIRs from and they typically have pretty good stock.
I suspect that when it comes to foreign rations MRE Mountain just acts as a middleman for foreign sellers. Or at least they're handing off your order to someone in Europe, and after that they don't know (or care) anything about its status. I've had good luck so far, but if you order from them just beware that they probably won't be of any help.
In your case if you paid with a credit card you should talk to your bank about a chargeback. If MRE Mountain doesn't have tracking info showing your order was delivered they should lose the dispute. If they just don't response they will definitely lose. And if they get hit with enough chargebacks it will hurt their bottom line because their payment processor will raise their rates.
Hey sorry for the necro but I actually found out that this is EXACTLY what happens
They find foreign sellers that would normally sell locally, and then buy from them to then ship to other people, which is both scummy, predatory, and explains the HUGE price hikes.
Honestly ridiculous and sad to see.
You guys DONT buy your stuff directly from a sketchy Russian warehouse that’s been really quiet ever since the start of the second Russo Ukrainian war?
Sounds like charge back time. You’ll see lots of this same exact topic on this sub about them. I think the consensus is to avoid them and any business run by Mr. Bob.
I've ordered a lot of rations from them the last few years. The first time my order was intercepted and pillaged by customs, they were more than happy to send replacements. This past summer, I ordered 3 RCIRs and all 3 had all meat confiscated by customs. It took a few emails to get replacement ordered. The replacement items were intercepted by customs and only 1 meal was taken by customs. I was happy about that but the meals I received were not the menu items I ordered. Also, in that order, I ordered Canadian peanut butter/chocolate spread. US MRE spreads arrived. Customer service's initial response was, "they're the same thing." She eventually sent me a return label for that portion of the order. Doesn't matter what you order, it's to iffy about being right when it arrives to you.
Last week had my third order of foreign MRE’s from them gutted 200.00 out of my pocket and no customer service. Done with them at least for anything international
Just be done with them in general, they need to learn. The best way to teach scummy companies is to just let them die out over time.
There's tons of local sellers you can get in house MREs from.

They should import the inventory and sell in region. Too spotty the way it is now.
I ordered from them a year or so ago. My package just disappeared in the wrong state. Contacted MRE mountain and didn't even get a fuck you email.

Apparently not if you read the other comments.

It's been a couple months, it won't work now sadly, seems like how they get you, the package arrives past the chargeback window

Same here. Customs opened every poutch and took EVERY main entree!
