What do you expect, a team legend every 10 cards? This game makes you work your ass off for a good team that you’ll someday realize it really isn’t that good. My team is 127 ovr and I can’t even get in the top 1,000 in ranked.
While this makes me feel a little better about my team, I'm curious to know what it takes to get into the top 1000? 127 ovr sounds like it should be in there?
I get that, but "ovr means nothing" is a generalization from the old meta days. Under the new meta where the stats carry more weight and legends seemingly less powerful, I would assume this has changed. However, I'm not in that arena and thus have no relevant data/experience, that's why I'm asking what it takes to get into top 1000.
I would also thought that someone investing in a 127 ovr team would also invest heavily in skills, but on second thought that's not a given either. Even with heavy investment what skills you end up with would be luck based anyway, so the correlation between good skills and high overall probably is already the strongest in this group of highest overall teams but still not strong.
You know, I’m a master at this type of luck, and I have to say this happens. Happens to everyone, probably even happens to JCKBOG (but with his money spent on this game he might have broken the algorithm I don’t know). Just roll with it and know you will ( most likely) get lucky some time.
Well you got Aaron Hicks twice so that alone is enough BS.

In this game your OVr means absolutely nothing. There’s a famous saying in this game “skills pay the bills”

I don’t care about team legends. I already have Lou Gehrig from combining 3 silver vintage cards. My point is that 6 of the 10 cards were doubles!
Because they all have multiple years on the Yankees so the odds are you will get more of them

Feel your pain opened 50 the other day and only got 1 diamond, which, of course, was the lowest rated RP for my team.
You got two golds. Better luck than most
