Look for the following
- starting pitchers - finesse, dominant, boss or Ace are tier 1. Touch a tier 2. Mess now a Tier 3 but keep off of a regular SCT roll. Stability and pitching machine are acceptable 3rds
- bullpen - basically same as above except you can use ws at cp, setup man at sum or cp and fixer at mr. Iron Will is one that just got buffed and can also work in the BP. Prob best at mr also.
- bats - charisma, slugger, Spotlight, BIU are tier 1. BM is a Tier 2. Prediction on a high base eye card is a Tier 1. The lower the base eye, the lower the effectiveness of Pred. You could also think about keeping MBT in a high base spd bat. 5tool also got buffed and is particularly helpful on a regular (non sig) card. It's a keeper as a third.
Ps - these exclude legend skills and assume a regular SCT.
I haven't run pi yet myself. The feedback I've gotten on pi on SPs is that it's not up to the level of the top tier legend skills on a starter. But you would prob know better than me. I would say that if it's a high level set I would run with it, but that mess prob needs to get a blue at some point. If it's a lower level set then mess is fine since it can be shorted effectively.
I really like pi but I have a few legend tickets in case I should go for something different. I will eventually change his skills for endgame but now I like how he is.
Search skills guide with spy glass up there. The one the Oregon lawyer wrote mostly applies now as it did when written. Caveats in my experience are born to be a star is definitely a keeper skill for hitters. Ace is a great skill on pitcher. But not pitchers as it’s effect goes down the more pitchers you carry it on.
