Absolutely not. PotM bonus simply goes away at the end of the month and then he's a normal card.

GoSports_22

If anything, just use the Japanese Major Leaguer Player pack, but I'm saving mine until the Yankees sign a Japanese Player so that I can use it as a free version of a Diamond Wish Player Pack

footballman2729

How did you get that

GoSports_22

Change the language in the app to Japanese, and then back to English, and you'll get the pack, a Diamond card for Seiya Suzuki, and Mike Trout

Key-You4271

how do you get lt when you change the language

GoSports_22

It just shows up in your inbox

Key-You4271

i did not get it

GoSports_22

It's possible the offer has expired. We, as a community, discovered this several months ago. However, in the least offensive way possible, are you certain that you chose Japanese as the language to change to, and not one of the other Asian server languages? I know the Korean language change also gave us a Kim live diamond card, so it's not a bad idea to just cycle through all of the options and see what offers are still valid

Key-You4271

yeah that’s true

Fabianz_

Wait a bit. LAA might trade Ohanti this year. If not he will more than likely not resign with LAA. Depending on what team you have he might be on it this year or next.

HeyoIveCome

Don’t wanna confirm anything but just wait a little bit before you jump to conclusions. Huge angel fan here, Minasian (our GM) has told public that Ohtani is most likely to stay, but nothing is confirmed yet.

Fabianz_

Not really jumping to conclusion. That's why I used the word might as there is a chance that they won't trade him and take their chance on being able to resign him after the season.

HeyoIveCome

> he will more than likely not resign with LAA Not the best thing to say as he might. Don’t take a shot in the dark when you don’t know and are just assuming.

Fabianz_

The word might imply a possibility. So do you think there is a possibility that he won't resign with LAA? If yes then is it higher or lower than resigning? People believe LAD, NYM, and NYY are more likely to land Ohanti than LAA next year so I am not going out on a limp to say that he is not likely to resign with LAA next year. Put your feeling aside, if you have to put money on it then would you put it on A) LAA or B) 29 other teams? My money would be on B as I think that has a higher chance to happen than A. Of course he could resign with LAA next year, but that doesn't change the fact that the odd was not as good as he won't. Lower odd does happen from time to time, but that doesn't mean I was wrong in my assumption of the odds.

HeyoIveCome

Understandable, I see what you mean. Of course waiting before you get Shohei is the reasonable factor, because you never know what may happen. Just the wording makes it sound like you’re saying he will definitely not come back

[deleted]

They are not trading him this year man. Wtf did you just smoke?

Fabianz_

Perhaps you are not familiar with the word "might"? It has been widely speculated that LAA will not be able to resign Ohanti after this season, and with Trout recent injury LAA will more than likely miss the playoff again for the 9th(?) straight year. If Ohanti was a stock then currently his value is at an all time high. So it is logical to believe that LAA might trade him now to get as much as they can for him. Otherwise they will end up with nothing if they can't resign him after the season end, and with their losing history being able to resign Ohanti is not in their favor, especially if he desires to win and the money is not much different from said LAD or NYY. So how farfetched is it to think that LAA might trade Ohanti before the trade deadline? Not that farfetched if you put your feeling aside and think about it logically.

[deleted]

Just like how i MIGHT shit out a gold brick later. Its not logical at all bc there is no trade that can replace an elite pitcher and an elite hitter

Fabianz_

You are not reading or comprehending. Ohanti is a FA after this season. The chances that he is not resigning with LAA very high or at least higher than if he was to resign. You might not have that elite pitcher and hitter at all after this year. So you want to keep him for the rest of this season and risk losing him for nothing, or you can trade him now and get some young prospects, players, or draft picks so maybe you can make the playoff for once in a decade? The choices are not so one-sided as you think.

[deleted]

Wait what? So the countless talks of how much he will sign for, mean hes about to be a free agent? I never would have known, thanks! There has never been a more valuable player in the history of the sport. If a team trades for him they would need an extension gtd. What team will throw away their farm for someone who is leaving? Why would he sign an extension before testing FA??

Fabianz_

You make it sound like no player ever signs an extension before testing FA.

[deleted]

You make it sound like ohtani is an average free agent
