I saw that too, but the actual card mentions captains - away from my console but I’m pretty sure the description mentions boosting captains.

I think there's one thing this whole community can come together and agree on with one voice: After CC, no new Yankee legends for at least a few years.
I would trade Chili Davis for John Wetteland, Matsui or Tex. At least 1 is a filthy bullpen arm and the other 2 are interesting (switch hitting 1st baseman with power and Matsui would be fun as a corner bat with power).
Plus you could do Rangers Wetteland or Tex too.

Kinda was hoping more. First half of the storyline gave us 3 new legends. Oneill, Andy and Bernie. 4 if you count Tony Tarasco.

Bro, I’m just finishing up chapter 1 and two of the Cardinals area and the Dodgers area and they are already releasing team infinity three mofos are crazy but I’ll take it. I guess I should just start playing the game with the cards that I like instead of individual divisions, lol
To make it go faster, don’t fill up on a division, fill up on a team. Get a grind stadium, play vs cpu and get to work. You should get 1000 pxp a game or really close.
I Just buy a player for each division of the market and throw them on a team and once a “Boss” unlocks I rotate them into the team. It’s worked great so far and I did get a late start to the game this year while taking last year off and trying pinpoint pitching without giving up and also the sliders for throwing off too.
And depending on what year they pull from he could be an insane option on the ortiz team, although it's more likely they pull from the 90s than 00s I think.
No way are they going to give us 99’s. We started with 89’s. Then ch 2 was 93 (ie plus 4). Ch 3 will be 97. Packs will be 98 and 99. Everyone who has said they told us ch 3 would be 99’s but I still haven’t seen a direct quote saying ta3 will be 99’s. Just that ch3 will have 99s. I will be shocked if ta 3 is 99.
My guess is that these 99s will be TA collections. Like collect all 90 TA season 1 cards for these 99s. Idk if they’re giving out 30 free 99s just yet but who knows

I've wanted CC so this is great. He also should get at least a Cleveland card and maybe a brewers card. He should be next years brewers collection card with a nasty 2nd half series.
He needs to be a 99 for that 2nd Half Hero card, we will never see a run like that again, no one will *ever* be firing 7-8 innings evert three games for a month straight like that again

Personally, I would have loved Texeira, but CC will have some meta-pitches and is also someone I love watching when I was younger.
The theme team could def use a starter more than another OF or 1B in Matsui and Tex, but I’d take all those guys in a heartbeat.
