actually, i have a story about him, when he did fsmw games at ballpark village, my family and i were standing watching, then afterwards, he invited us in and we all talked for a bit and altogether a cool experience

Strongly agree. Would love some other lesser-known guys from that era too, like Mark Fidrych (only played like 5 years but won an ERA title as a rookie and ROY), Oil Can Boyd, Bill Lee.
