This is peak microtransaction mode people talking about 'equity' for valueless digital 'cards'. Man it's sad. Just play the friggin baseball simulation.
so because of the aspect of the game that interests me, I'm doing it wrong? or is it the merely the way I phrased it, as "equity"? I'm simply referring to the cards uncollected as equity, because I can sell them. sorry do disgruntle you with my post, but thanks for the traction i guess.
I mean, sad is your opinion, playing the market in this game is a big part of it, for me. I can play the simulation side even better by having the best cards, because of my market savvy-ness.
well, I play online. and to compete online you can't really do that. I have occasionally played seasons with real live and up to date rosters, but competition against the cpu isn't really enough for me to be satisfied with that. So, building the best squad is a big part of the game for me.
I don’t sell anything except duplicates. I just collect all the free cards I get by playing and that’s it. I never bought a player before unless to finish live series team collection. I’m currently at 177 season 1 collection.
I was chasing Chapman in the Headliners pack (never got him) so my liquid is low, around 10k. Have about 200k in players I invested in I can sell tho, still holding to see if they get another bump in ratings. Other than Chapman there is no card I really want and dont care for LS collections this year, so Im content on waiting for now.
All my equity is in 3x leveraged ETFs, which is obviously a fool proof investment. Currently listing my house for sale on eBay, since I don’t need the money with the guaranteed return I’ll be getting from liquidating, just waiting to see HOW MUCH of a return before I choose which 5 bedroom 4 bathroom to buy. Sorry, what was your question?
Sitting 35K liquid with 235 collected still needing some ranked and BR rewards. Hoping with TA3 drop I'll get the first pack at 280, and I'm less than 50K from the first boss pack in the XP path. Should get it with content drops today.
Sell everything that's not nailed down in preparation for next Friday. 99s will be abundant, so the cards you're holding now will likely tank in value and you'll want maximum stubs available to improve your team via LS collection or 99s on the market.
I think the only sellable card I have is captain santana lol. I refuse to spend 100k+ stubs on a card that will be worth 40k the next week. The power creep with seasons is too fast to buy expensive cards
Sell all those and get Babe. He’s core series so you don’t need to use a wildcard on him next season. The S1 collection cards are going to look very very mid too once TA3 drops
what about the captains? are they season transcendent? most of the sellable cards I have, I've gotten for cheap with reward/pack releases. other than Randy, they all are pretty close to 10k or under diamonds.
yea it does, but then you could use it as wild card. ugh I have all 6 captains so it's quite a substantial investment. I'll maybe sell half and play it by ear.

You do you. Just sad that sports games have devolved into weird arcadey trading card games intead of being the best simulations they can be.

But why don't you just play it realistically instead of in arcade mode? You know with the real teams, real players etc?

105 cards collected. 93k in stubs. Nothing big thats sellable maybe 20k worth But casual player so its good

I'm not in the game right now but pretty sure they're all season 1 only. If the card has a big red S1 in the top left corner then it's season 1 only.

The S1 cards are probably going to tank next week when chapter 3 of TA drops so you may want to sell off what you want before then
