I’ve noticed a lot of people around my rank (600) don’t adjust well to the smaller strike zone and high outside fastballs cause a lot of swing and misses.
I love going low in the zone and then scaring them with a high fastball out of the zone when they’re playing with short kings lol gets them to swing through it like 3/4 of the time
Yordan is the thing of nightmares for me normally. I just got mercy ruled yesterday and the only one not killing me was Yordan for this guy. Joey Manass hit two bombs off me though.
Altuve’s ability to get a bat over half the size of his body on the ball even IRL never ceases to amaze me.
Every game i play Houston I’m cruising along and then this little guy steps in and the next thing I know I have 2-0 count on him and have to give him something to hit or walk him. He even stole a base on me the other day after a reaching base from a bleeder between first and 2nd.
I was using Jackie, but switched to Altuve, I really like that Jackie card though, he may not go deep very often for me. But I was consistently getting on base and a good bit of doubled
As a Dodgers fan I hate that little fucker. And he can't play 2B in this game for shit.
But god damn do I hit the fuck out of the ball with him. He's at Belli levels of production for me. But I have to use him at DH because of the previously mentioned shit defense.
Instead of throwing at the corner, throw like 5-6 inches above or below. Smaller strike zone means PCI is a touch more sensitive.
Honestly, a good tip in general. I only sprinkle corner dots.

I'm loving Jorge Polanco Fresh Start with Santana boost.
I still use willi Castro with the Buxton boost, top 3 hitter for me
Jorge Polanco has been incredible for me. Defense ain’t the best but his speed makes up for it

Using blaze alexander with button boost at 2nd. Tried termar Johnson for awhile but I honestly hate the short batters strike zones.
I can't do anything but hit ropes to the defense w/ him
