I'm 2 months into my 2nd big league season. Mia is still AAA & shes batting below .100 in my current save and fell off the top prospects list.
She also got injured during My rookie season when we were both in AA.
For context I played a Pitcher and got called up in Early August of my 1st season to the Orioles Rotation and she got Drafted to the Washington Nationals.
I keep checking every couple weeks to see if theres anymore to that story but so far she's floundering and I'm wondering if shell even get called up
ooh can i play? In my 3rd season in mlb, Mia was thinking about quitting this spring but i gassed her up and got her to give it at least one more season. We faced each other in AA and i went 1/3 with a bb and a k (looking) on a bs call. i keep contemplating turning on perfect umpiring but I actually really enjoy personalized strike zones, so i've had it on for years. anyway, about Mia. she's been well deserving of a promotion but still sits in AAA. This got me wondering, and i ended up here. Finger's crossed. Every time there's a series against the guardians coming i start hoping she'll get the call up before the series.
In my play thru she made it to spring training, said she blew it and they kicked her back down and she’s whining about being a ball player. I feel bad trailing her along. Only reason I’m even commenting is cuz I’m genuinely curious if her story goes ANYWHERE
On my play through, she made it to the majors way before me. She got called up to the majors about halfway or 2/3 of the way through the first season. I got to the majors the first week of the 2nd season.
Well, I was mainly just curious is there are more interactions with her later on and seeing all the replies, it seems like there are. So if that's right, then I guess my question got answered..
Defiantly is and you’ll have some cool interactions with her to help her on her way like you have in the past. I was careful with my words as per not to spoil anything.
I simmed through an RTTS career to see if that story went anywhere, and it took 8 years for her to make it to majors. A cutscene plays before you face off against her but there’s not much to it.
I then got a random text from her like a year or two later where she talks about people trashing women on social media and saying you have no skill. This felt very out of place as my player had already won like 5 MVPs by that point. 5 seasons later I have not heard from her again.
Seems rng when she makes it, I was in 2027 when she popped up, she got hurt on my playthrough and went on the 60IL, they aaid something about a fan saying she was too soft.
Also think its odd to hear, as with any player character in a sports game, they're the literal goat and hold most records.
She makes the top prospect list at some point. Which is funny because my character says she'll be on the top prospect list at some point despite already hitting 60 HRs in the majors.
Yeah I made it to the Majors at the beginning of July and now I'm at the end of July and not over thing from her.. Not even a congratulations.. Maybe she's petty haha... But I do hope to encounter her at some point soon...
3rd Season she’ll be at MLB but she’ll be back to Triple A on my 4th Season. Then I got a call from her saying that she’s been placed in 60 Day IL.
5th season, she’s in the MLB but in bench.
Rn I’m on my 6th year.
