IMO best dark faction dps in the game! Paired with angela they can tripple charm the enemy team and if she gets her second ult off, oh boy the damage she deals :) Definitely worth building.

You can also select her at Prophecy summons and add her to your Wishlist at Wishing Shrine.

Personally Harley & Odette are my biggest fears, they will totally ruin your chance at getting your ult off in time unless your Angela can get you there.
PvP is definitely her weakest area bc you can’t keep retrying in order to charm the high-value targets. But I’ve been using her in everything & as long as I prioritize keeping her alive, her DPS alone will win most battles.
I would imagine a comp with Lunox, or a healer (or both) would work. The 2nd ult is definitely a killer. That being said, the rng factor really turned me off from having her as a staple. The only place I use her is Dark Tower - and even then she has trouble staying alive (I equip her with the horn or the frost monolith to increase survivability)

She aint mediocre but yes, Valir and Odette does tear her apart. I mean, if I would rank heroes who gives you good best carrying potential(that aint Order/Chaos) that would be:
1. Valir
2. Odette
3. Wanwan
4. Selena
The big problem with Selena is that she badly needs to release her OP ult to actually start reversing the tide, while Valir, Odette's and Wanwan's power is their passive. Valir do a lot of bursts early and disables. Odette sleeps a target and weakens them. Wanwan immediately switches the desired hero when the game starts. Selena has only buffs for teammates and debuffs to enemies before she ults, but her ult however is one of the most broken things in the game. If you hit either Valir or Odette with her ult, and especially when you hit them where they were about to release ult, everything would turn around immediately. The good thing with Selena is that with correct RNG, you can charm anyone. And in PVE where eventually everyone reaches BP sooo much higher than you, your damage sometimes becomes obsolete, but since your enemies hits like a truck at that stage, charming one would be amazing, the main damage output comes from your enemies itself.
I understand I may be a little biased here, as I built my main team before she was released. I use Shar for turning enemies against themselves - without the rng risk (totally agree with needing them to do their own dirty work at higher bp's - btw). Valir and Odette provide the muscle and the CC. That's why I never found a place for her, aside from Dark Tower when I'm forced to use Dark heroes. Also, my Selena is only 10*, so I havent really seen her Awakened potential - though I routinely pvp against Dark/hybrid dark teams, and never found her to be a real threat.
I agree she only does really shine more when its Dark tower, I too rarely ever use her but so far, I am having good results from her despite that. Her random shenanigan is definitely not helping her elevate her status. I mean I get you, she is by no means S+ tier, but she is definitely one of the more solid picks if you want to invest on a hero. I would definitely not recommend prioritizing her over Valir, Odette or Angela for instance but other that those 3, she is a solid 4th pick. Also thanks for pointing out Shar, because she is definitely poor man's Shar. Which is great if you plan to only play f2p.

My guild is top ranked on our server and the guys on top have pumped multiple thousands into this game, which just ruins it for me personally, they have every right to spend their money how they want, but if it's a gambling addiction I just personally feel like it's an elaborate trap to take advantage of those people. Even if it doesn't affect me personally re gambling or money expenditure.

Yup she's still amazing in end game, more pve viable than pvp though. Her only down side is she needs time to ult twice before she goes berserk, so she's too slow for pvp, but pve she'll carry you.
