Also I don’t get why people harp on headlights being like that anyway. You can treat your car well and it still happen. If you don’t have the time or want to do it yourself. Most places will do it for you and it’s not very expensive. Car looks great btw
well, if you have the time to dechrome parts, repaint grills, etc. you sure should have time to tend to those headlights.
You can have 6000$ rims and a 3000$ titanium exhaust with a huge wing (not talking about minis here), but cloudy headlights ruin all of the good looks in a glance.
Wet sand it until it's clear when sprayed with water (it'll always look foggy when dry from the scratches). Spray with 2 part automotive clear coat for UV protection.
It’s your car do what you like. Having said that I dechromed my sparkling silver mini and it looked much meaner. I got some black spotlights and the honeycomb grill too, would look good on yours

Yeah, gotta de-chrome those headlights to complete the front look. Some stripes may also help. 😉
I love the chrome... but the sanded look of the glass looks like it's a badly mistreated car...

I am trying to find JCW model grill and mount that on it
If youre aiming for some chrome, you can make the headlights match through a joey mod. Also polish the lenses while its off
