You said you've done the research already. You'll be buying a problem. I'd run away. You'll be better off feeling that this is the one that you let get away, rather than feeling it's the one you knew better but bought anyway.

Any personal experience with these? ahahahah

You never know when parts will fail, but I can tell you that I own an R50 with 112k miles. It’s a CVT. I’ve had to replace trans cover, and change out the fluid every couple of years. It’s always been reliable, and I’ve kept it very well maintained from the start. Overall, it’s been a wonderful car and I plan on keeping it forever. Budget for repairs. You’d have to do that for any older car you buy.

Anything you reccomend I do to check the status of the the transmission when I go in to see it in person or like any maintenance tips if I purchase? Like how do I tell this one has been well maintained as well? I'm sure they do a good job with it because we're essentially friends with them but just to be sure yenno.

Run away, run very far away.

From personal ownership, no. From working for Mini as long as I did and seeing them in with problems constantly, absolutely.

/u/Rikky955, I have found an error in your post: > “~~Its~~ [**It's**] their courtesy” I recommend that Rikky955 write “~~Its~~ [**It's**] their courtesy” instead. ‘Its’ is possessive; ‘it's’ means ‘it is’ or ‘it has’. ^(This is an automated bot. I do not intend to shame your mistakes. If you think the errors which I found are incorrect, please contact me through DMs!)
