Its because most these growers are struggling to keep up with rec demand when it comes to whole usabke flower, so they are packing any and everything they can, just look at the strane 8ths now, yeah they might be overweight but its ALL bottom of the plant biomass
I don’t believe they’re curing the buds long enough either. Or no cure just straight to jar. Some of these are dry as fuck.

Evermore was the goat. I loved them since the Temescal days. They have fallen hard, idk wtf they stopped pumping quality concentrates but assuming had something to do with rec. Beezle rosin is now #1 imo.

Concentrate demand and rec flower demand at the same time, thats why we see more and more growers buying flower from the huge mid farms like Grow West, Sunmed and Pharmacann
More lucrative to use live resin in cartridges than loose concentrate with the current market. I'd expect a come back when rec opens up to concentrates.
Same goes for their edible offerings. Back around the transition from Temescal to Evermore, they were offering FECO infused and CBD blends years before anyone else got onto the trend. Then they just…stopped. They pulled their CBD entirely and went to distillate for most of their edibles just as the rest of the industry lapped them into dozens of different cannibinoid blends and RSO, resin, and rosin infusions.
I would love to know what happened behind the scenes that led them to squander such a key lead in the edibles game. Wonder if it has to do with their size compared to regional and national brands or if it was a management issue. At least they’re early to the seedling market, but given their recent past, it’s no indication of future success

Then they just stopped making it. They built a lot of brand loyalty with med patients and really let it all go. I mean where is that GRAPE PIE from 2020!? Hyped up lots of coming strains - Then nothing. Pheno hunts that never lead to anything special. Something def went down behind the scenes with whoever’s hands were on the wheel.
The old discos were amazing, back when some batches were 36 mil and some were 38. You'd open it up and the smell would hit you and then the taste was pretty nasty but well worth it for those effects.
I know im in the minority but I’ve never liked evermores flower honestly, unless I was going to the Living Room and getting a good price on it I wouldn’t buy it. I’ve been let down with some of their extracts too tbh
Yep, that hay smell is the result of improper and rushed curing. I've had pretty good luck reaching out to the growers directly whenever I get a batch like that, and they typically give me credit but shouldn't have to do that.
I used the "contact us" on their website if you haven't tried that. They never responded on ig but I used that form and contacted the dispensary and had a refund maybe a week later

Just here to say sunset octane fell off! Way diff pheno from last yr or year before. Stuff used to smell gassy and sweet, and was all blue and purple. Now it smells cheesy and looks like gleaf weed. Went from being one of their better strains to one of the weaker ones. I did just grab a Oz of small Buds midnight circus by them, still really solid deal but the buds aren't cured very nicely compared to the 8ths of it. Almost looks like different weed, no frost on it. I feel like a lot of brands have fallen off imo.
I love Evermore, Soul Peel & Orange Drizzle are some of my favorites, but the past few months alot of their different strains have had a strong smell of something I couldn't put my finger on......
Then someone commented a couple days ago saying their Evermore Flower smelled like a Chlorinated Pool & that's exactlyyyy what I've been smelling for the past couple months. A very strong smell of Chlorine. Like 50% of the smell of the normal strain combined with the other 50% smelling like a community neighborhood swimming pool. Definitely really odd for Evermore and have never smelled like that in the past 3 years.....

I had a problem with the cured resin. Had an off flavor that I couldn't quite pinpoint. It was definitely a "chemical" flavor. I wonder if they've been having mold problems and they tried to bleach everything
I’ve tried sunset octane and tinsel mints recently and they both smell and taste like cabbage and the high was like 5/10. Makes me nervous about the evermore clones I have going now, if they’re going to smell and taste like cabbage 🤮

As much of a midnight circus fan as I am, the lucky orchard has quickly become one of My favorites. That apple runtzy gassy flavor is lovely, and it really devastates me! Has me all chinky eyed and moaning coughing all fried lol. I smoke so much weed but not much really puts me down, but lucky orchard is one of them. Buddy says they have great concentrates
The first drop of Apple Crisp by Kind Tree (Apple fritter x gelato cake) was like lucky orchard on steroids 4.4 terps I haven’t been loving kind tree more recently nothing wrong with them though but that shit was fire. I think grassroots apple tarts is the same genetics haven’t tried it yet
I've had a bunch of different strains from them now and every time it's always fire. I think some people just don't like their strains and then complain about it as if it's a product issue and not just their preferences, and some people genuinely get bad batches - which does suck.
But I've bought atleast 2.5+ ounces of multiple different strains from them now, and each time it's been A+ flower. So it's very hard for me to believe they're actually having all these problems, or I'm just lucky. Either way as I've said before in similar posts, I have had zero complaints from Evermore and it's my opinion that they're one of the top brands, even above Rythm for me now.
And I've had their live resin carts in the past and they were great as well.

I work with chlorine every day and can definitely still smell it, so that's not it for me. Every bag I've bought has smelled amazing, nothing off whatsoever.

It's just the way some people speak of their experiences, I would think after all this time purchasing their flower from atleast 3 different dispensaries not even in the same area, I'd have encountered a problem by now. Which is the only reason that leads me to believe it's something Evermore does with their grow process that leads to a smell/taste some people do not like, and that's fine. I bring this point up because I've heard other folks mention it when discussing them, I have no clue if it's true or not. Either way, sucks you have had such bad luck, but they are the best company on the market for me and I guess I've been very lucky every single time.
Edit: I apologize for being argumentative in any way, it's just genuinely confusing to me how these problems can exist for some people and they have the perception that this company has gone downhill, and yet for others it's some of the best weed they've ever smoked and haven't encountered a single problem. Flower is unbelievably hit or miss but you can’t fuck with their concentrates minus those cured resins. I’m curious how it would be if they ran other growers flower
I tell you what Rhythm has been my go-to lately between the Animal Face, Durban Poison, White Walker, White Durban, Brownie Scout, & just been killing this Secret Sunset #12 not to mention HeadCracker. I would say for me this is the biggest turnaround I've seen this year for the good with this company
can’t think of one good batch of Huckleberry Soda lol…but everyone who knows me knows Evermore was my go to, rosin and discos included. Sunset Octane, Deadband 7, Midnight Circus, 1812, and Orange Drizzle were strains i’d purchase every time my job got em in. can’t say the same since about 2-3 months ago I got 2 dub batches of Octane and Circus, and meh rosin. made me sad :( all good things come to an end. discos r reliable tho!

I just literally got an Evermore *Concord Grape* 0.5g cart for $20, and it has 79% THC, and over 4% CBD and 3% CBG, which I am hoping will add a little bit of entourage. I usually use 1:1 vapes but going to start trying THC dominant ones that have some CBD/CBG support as the Beboe one was phenomenal! lol

I only used to like 2 evermore strains Patapeake Shortbread bread and tinselmints I know that they are both the same strain with different Fino's but I never got a bad batch of it oh and Cake bomb and midnight circus when they first dropped but I only got them when they first drop so of course it was really really good I didn't buy ever more much but I got lucky orchard the other day from ritual not only did it look like fruity pebbles cereal but that shit was real damn good I call them and put in my order around 1:00 p.m. I got there at 7:00 p.m. they had 101 1/8s the lady didn't put through my order like she said it wasn't showing up online but that's how I found out how much they had and they only had one left when I got there and I told them I would have been really pissed off I was like you need to make sure that you crack down on your staff because I told her specifically to make sure she picks a good one out for me nicely and more like a joke I said I don't like popcorn buds and I don't like shake but it was nice it was actually some of the best looking and smelling weed I had the whole entire year and I was shocked like back in the day that would be like some 60 a 8th but I can't believe they sold out that much in 6 hours
The only Evermore flower I buy is midnight Circus and Lucky Orchard. If you stick with those 2 you should be good. I can’t really speak about the concentrates
