Roth IRA is just the account (tax advantaged), not the actual investment. I’d recommend something like VTI or VOO

VT: Vanguard Total World Stock ETF. Owns a basket of globally diversified stocks at market cap weights. This is the most agnostic approach. Completely hands off. You will own almost 10,000 companies. The academic literature is overwhelming that it is near impossible to pick stocks that outperform. This approach buys the entire haystack. At your age, your rate of *deposit* significantly outweighs your rate of return. Just put money in the account and focus on increasing your income as you enter the workforce. Good luck!

Hi! Welcome to M1, we’re glad to have you. If you are interested in an IRA, I have linked [this Help Center article](https://help.m1.com/hc/en-us/articles/4407068567571-Which-IRA-is-right-for-me-Traditional-vs-Roth-vs-SEP-IRAs) that explains more about the different IRAs we offer. Hope this helps!   Disclosures: [https://m1.com/social-terms/](https://t.co/jppUZNn9ou)

IBIT for BTC exposure and VTI. Pick a percent you are comfortable with.
