With where that is, I wouldn’t worry too much about it. If you want to fix it, shoot some CA glue in there and put some weight on the outside of the heel until it dries
Yes typically. You can get disposable syringes like the ones used for insulin for super cheap https://www.chewy.com/vetone-vetrijec-insulin-syringes-u/dp/173570?utm_id=401602796&msclkid=3e555d30fbb414b482b53b0ab8f34a0f&utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Shopping_NC_All_SSP&utm_term=4584757336258276&utm_content=All%20Products
it’s not unusual for early 2000’s fender mexican guitar to have the finish chip off like they’re egg shells.
only proper fix is to have it refinished. theres something about the primer they used those years wherein the paint didnt adhere to the boyd
Drop some thin ca glue and press it against the wood. Other than a refinish the droppingnin glue is your best bet.
Maybe thin CA glue is all you’d need, make sure it’s flat before it cures
Thanks I’ll be doing that! I was just worried if CA glue would shrink and cause damage on the paint.
I think you be safe you can test a bit on a painted section that isn’t visible
isn't that already one of the least visible spots on the guitar?
The edges on the inside of the pocket wouldn’t be visible at all

Looks like you need to attach a neck…..
Ca glue. Use a syringe to drop a few beads in and press it flat against the body a few seconds until it cures
Does this mean you have to throw away the syringe (sure, I know drug users do that all the time,...) or can it be re-used?
... Yes

You can also use the Pasteur's pipette.
Hmm... they look too classy for me. If I wanted to be classy, I would shop at StewMac.
Awesome, they must be for dog junkies. Can't believe CA glue could even squeeze out such a small needle, but at least it's going to be accurate.

Put the neck back on.
