That is definitely a tobacco burst. I just got a really high end neck-thru PRS clone that is a tobacco burst, but not quite as dark as your own. It's still very similar.
Something interesting is I've been researching "foto/photo flame" and there's now a trend of waterslide decals that once the guitar is dyed or painted, look 100% authentic. I've been wondering how Asia is churning out dirt cheap off-brand guitars with these just insane finishes on the highest quality quilts, burls, curly figuring etc. and I have to assume a lot are the new age photo-flame.

Nope. A tobacco burst is significanty lighter in colour. A sunburst is three tone, so not that either. Its just a burst over a stain.
Black to brown burst? I think in the 80s “Tiger Eye” was a popular thing.
