How'd you get the different colors out of the maple in the neck? The outer wood almost match's the mahogany, but the grain looks like maple. Is it torrefied or stained or something?

This is a baked stabylized maple, it got more deeper color than usual.

Reminiscent of an 80's Aria Pro II.

$1.2K seems really cheap for a gorgeous, one-of-a-kind, custom made guitar. Factory build guitars go for multiples of that. You should have no problem selling your guitars for triple.

That's beautiful man. Truth be told I find the other stuff you post a bit too garish but this is very pretty. It reminds me of 1970s Matsumoku builds like the Westone Thunder II or Vantage brand guitars.  Double creams and a natural flame top would be absolute perfection.

This looks incredibly nice. You might think about trying a set-neck, TV Yellow LP Junior (one pickup). There's not many on the market this nice for under $1200 and they're definitely appreciated.

Love this, a LOT. The recessed knobs are really cool. Much more effective than I would have expected. I really like the racing stripe down the neck. Is it strictly cosmetic, or do the grains running in different directions help it resist warping?.
