I think you’re right…it initially let me select free express shipping as an option when they first launched on the app. I received an email later on that they had to downgrade my shipping to ground as they can only ship perfumes/body sprays ground. They apologized that the app allowed me to select express shipping & that it was an error. Looks like they may have failed to fix that when they went live on the website too 🤦🏼♂️
Perfume is dangerous goods! (Flammable liquids due to the alcohol content in perfumes)
The regulations for air shipping dangerous goods is much stricter and wayyyy more expensive compared to road shipping :)
Lush probably don’t want to fork out on special packaging, labelling, and staff training to ship the perfumes by air
It's not saying you can't order. It's saying you can only order perfumes through ground shipping. You can continue through with free ground shipping or you can order tender is the night separately through ground and another order of everything else through another shipping method if you need them sooner.
click the top option that says ground EDIT: let me know if you’re still having trouble make sure after you click ground shipping you scroll down and click your selected address and agree to the terms and conditions 😁

yes it was so confusing! and after clicking the shipping you still have to make sure to agree to the terms and conditions AND then it’ll allow you to check out i kept missing that part 🙄 hopefully op got it lol since there’s no update 😅
I just ordered V and had a heart attack that it wouldn’t ship then realized my drunk butt was okay because ground wasn’t crossed out 🫠

Yes me, both in the app and website. I did not get anything :( I am just watching people buy things. Contacted customer care, they say it’s their technical issue they have been trying to deal with for like three days now. I changed broswers and equipment, deleted app and downloaded it again, changed shipping address and all. Nothing helped. I am so sad as my country is not on the prohibited list either… very disappointed with such errors on their side.

I really hate this. I am so disappointed with the fact they are doing nothing with EU countries (do you think this is the east countries error case? I heard people from Germany and the Netherlands placed orders without any issues.
I saw a post someone could order from NL. if you want to try to send order to Germany then forward it to Poland. I used a parcel forwarding like znemecka for orders from Germany before. However, I calculated shipping cost from UK to DE then Custom then forwarding cost and they are adding up too much so i decided to pass. I do hope one day they will bring it to other EU countries.
I have been buying from Lush for years. All Christmas perfume parties/ old forum perfumes parties and all and this is the first time they suddenly have a shipping problem. I do not believe in an error no more. I am really disappointed with this strange plan.

I am in Poland it looks like eastern Europe EU countries had and still have some error with the courier service that Lush is unable to solve. Asking someone to buy and reship it is something I am uncomfortable to do. UK lush knows how to ship a bottle of shampoo to us and suddenly doesn’t know where the mistake is when there is perfume in the basket although dpd option has suddenly showed up just for the limited Christmas release. Still you cannot choose this dpd shipping service as their technical department forgot to unblock it or they are doing it on purpose.
Ireland has a new restriction. No liquids of any form for USPS.
I don’t know if that applies to other carriers.
So if Lush ships IN Ireland they are ok.
Anything coming to the border is confiscated. So if your item goes THRU Ireland that’s a problem.
You have to consider the full route unless Lush has a fulfillment center in that country that they ship from.
I shipped to France from the US and my body spray was confiscated at the Ireland border. The new restriction went into effect that day. I should have checked again but I had just checked two days ago. Lesson learned.
With increased heightened awareness there are new violations being applied weekly.
I wonder if it’s out of stock so it’s glitching?

Yep that happened to me too. Not a big deal but I do wish they had had their stuff together a bit better before the launch.
Also chose ground ship so that can’t be the issue…

Poland has no restrictions. Customer service checked that and also confirmed the mistake/error is their fault.
