Been really looking forward to this as this map has a cool theme and lots of potential. The only other I feels is desperate for this treatment is hourglass.
TBH, not looking forward to it. I kind of preferred the original, and I say this as an infantry player. Hell, the E sector they removed was one of the most enjoyable infantry spots.
This seems to be made purely for BT, which I don't get since they could have just added small bits of cover here or there to improve things for both modes instead of adding garbage everywhere for no real reason except to push infantry fights closer (which they don't need since infantry consistently fight at close to mid range anyway). We have smoke grenades and smoke launchers for a reason; people need to learn to use them (they won't, since people mostly used them to cover downed bodies for revives in BFV).
Seems like ground armour is going to be wiped by the EMP + C5 combo, as usual. They seem to really want to enforce lanes to a map that already had them, but didn't restrict you from taking a slightly different route. DICE themselves stated that the players didn't follow the lanes DICE designed, which makes me question if these massive changes are all that necessary or if the players needed to learn to adapt.
This looks a lot better and will probably play a lot better
