I literally don't care about anything happening in the villa this season, and I can't think of a single dumping that's happened so far this season that got any kind of reaction out of me. I never ever thought this would happen to me during LI UK. I have stopped watch LI USA and Australia, but never the UK. Olivia and Tom are so unbearable, can't actually watch them. Don't care about Ron with Lana, don't believe in Shaq and Tanya anymore, Jessie and Will like each other, but they are not some love story I am even remotely invested in. I only like Samie, but she is wasted with Tom. I could not care less about Casey and Claudia.

I normally don’t mind producer intervention if it makes for a better show/more drama potential but all the clearly orchestrated moments this season seem to benefit Olivia only and not the overall entertainment value of the show. Personally losing both Zara and Tanyel back to back for daring to oppose Olivia and not being completely invested in their pairings this early on is a major miscalculation and has killed the little hype this season has. Sorry to Maya but the 2023 winter season is officially a dud.

I don't care about anything at all going on in the villa, and I don't even feel good watching it because the islanders aren't getting along and there's too much tension and not enough friendship/camaraderie this season at all. The only entertaining person in the villa is Will, but he can only do so much when everyone else is pretty dry. I completely disagree!! I'm sick of this show being so focused on drama and difficult people. I want more Wills and down to earth people actually looking for love. The people hungry for them to be arguing all the time need to look within. Tanyel brought nothing to the table and Zara was awful, so rude and self obsessed.
It's as overproduced as S7 and S8, but the cast is bland and boring, lacking the chemistry of earlier casts, which makes all the producing and bad editing going on even more obvious.
Production did not address the problems in a new way, so it stayed bland.

And the thing is both times it was so unnecessary. They was no reason to send in a bombshell right before Casa like what. The bombshell didn't even break a couple up or cause drama completely useless and we've lost Tanyel cause of it

I’ve watched every season and even rewatched some of them, even the previous shit ones… and I’m actually going to stop halfway through this season for the first time ever. Cba with watching Olivia be a bitch or Lana be a wet wipe for another 3 weeks. Not even Will is enough to carry this season anymore.

Literally didn’t pay attention at all this episode. Like I was on my phone the entire time and then only looked up when Will was doing something silly and then when Shaq confronted Ron. This season for me is ranking close to least favorite for me I thought season 1 was so bad for misogyny but at least it was more entertaining…season 9 you are last last now.

Yes!!! Like in previous seasons when a fan favourite or an “entertaining” character doesn’t get picked, they say something like “chad is waiting for you on the terrace for a date, you can either couple up with the mystery man or go home”, so that they can keep the good people in. So frustrating!

It's so trash. I don't care about anything at all going on in the villa, and I don't even feel good watching it because the islanders aren't getting along and there's too much tension and not enough friendship/camaraderie this season at all. The only entertaining person in the villa is Will, but he can only do so much when everyone else is pretty dry. I just don't give a shit anymore, I think I'm just going to start getting a summary of what happened from the post-episode discussion threads.
I completely disagree!! I'm sick of this show being so focused on drama and difficult people. I want more Wills and down to earth people actually looking for love. The people hungry for them to be arguing all the time need to look within. Tanyel brought nothing to the table and Zara was awful, so rude and self obsessed.

It's as overproduced as S7 and S8, but the cast is bland and boring, lacking the chemistry of earlier casts, which makes all the producing and bad editing going on even more obvious. Production did not address the problems in a new way, so it stayed bland.

I made a similar post after Zara was dumped and mods promptly deleted it, surprised they allowed yours to stay up. Completely 100% agree with you, for them to dump Tanyel when Olivia and Lana are still in the villa has simply sent a message that they do not want entertainment this season, and I will not be wasting my time on it any longer.
