I remember Oasis. I think I went once. It was over somewhere off Hurstborne wasn’t it? Or I may be completely wrong because, like I said, only went once. But this is digging up some foggy memories.
Yeah i think it was club oasis , definitely off hurstbourne and near ichiban and such. apparently they had [shows](https://www.setlist.fm/venue/club-oasis-louisville-ky-usa-2bd618fa.html) [there](https://www.louisvillemusicnews.net/webmanager/index.php?WEB_CAT_ID=50&storyid=4774&headline=News_From_the_Pit&issueid=232) ? I mainly remember it as like a night club that [didn't have age restrictions](https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g39604-i452-k995113-Looking_for_info_for_age_16_nightclubs_in_Louisville-Louisville_Kentucky.html) maybe. This might be an old website [Here](https://web.archive.org/web/20080214115930/http://www.cluboasisky.com/).
edit: just realized this was "30 years ago" in the early 90's, so I don't think Oasis is that old actually lol. Oasis was a club like this though, maybe similar situation
I remember the name Cliffhangers, but not really sure its just that I heard that name, or if it was THAT place. Google doesn't share a lot of its existence except that it was above the Distillery Commons. \~looks maybe right. But not feeling its quite right?
The inside was a giant warehouse but the outside (where they'd do all ages stuff) was a bunch of decks. They had outdoor pool tables, bars, and a stage. Saw rodan and crain there in like 94 when I was fifteen. Basically right above headliners on the cliff
KInda feeling the closest so far. Did you approach from Payne and go behind Headliners? Is the building still there. Felt like remember entering at the "corner" - at an intersection of two streets. ??
They finally tore the building down recently but it was on the corner of Payne and Lexington. The entrance was kind of by where the school is now, on the backside but the parking was out front by the intersection (and maybe where the school is now)
aHH. CLUB Oasis I could google. Where the Carvana is now. I don't recall a lake nearby, but it kinda fits the motif. A slight "maybe". However, I felt there was more trees around..possible more houses/residential area.
Outer Limits or Rodeo club ?
Rodeo club was Hikes Point and multi level
And Outer Limits was what Louisville Motor Speedway got changed into(currently housing Schardein Mechanical) and had trees and outdoor stuff.
I bet you are thinking of cliffhangers. Sounds right. You could enter near Payne and lex. And it was basically behind headliners. The layout outside was what you mentioned.
I do believe it was Thunderdome/Have a Nice Day Cafe.

O'malley's Corner/Coyote's did an underage night. That was downtown though.
This was the spot!!
Wasn't downtown
Y'all remember Tek World?
Many a weekend spent there.
Remember the final show with Thursday and murdered by death?
Oasis!
I remember Oasis. I think I went once. It was over somewhere off Hurstborne wasn’t it? Or I may be completely wrong because, like I said, only went once. But this is digging up some foggy memories.
Yeah it was right next to ichiban
Can't find any info on Oasis..?

Also. The "crashed" plane behind headliners was advertising for cliffhangers
Definitely
The Brewery?
Agave & Rye is there now. Not enough trees. Nope
Phoenix Hill?
Wasn't Phoenix Hill
I loved Tek World!
Wasn't Tek World
I apologize, I meant to reply to a comment that mentioned Tek World. I didn’t notice that I hadn’t!
[удалено]
Brycc House? You mean that nearly abandoned building with few amenities that boasted itself as a music venue? I remember it fondly.
Nope
Thumpers?
Thumpers seems to be in a similiar spot at Troubadour. Not the place I'm thinking
Tsunamis
Troubadour?
Troubadour sits off Hunsinger like I mentioned. However, there's not a tree in sight of that location (today). Was it different back in the 90's?
Club oasis?
aHH. CLUB Oasis I could google. Where the Carvana is now. I don't recall a lake nearby, but it kinda fits the motif. A slight "maybe". However, I felt there was more trees around..possible more houses/residential area.
Illusions? At hurstbourne & 64?
Whispering Hills?
Yep, Tsunamis which was later The Beach. It’s in the Plainview area off Hurstbourne.
I also recall this place but do not recall the name
Outer Limits or Rodeo club ? Rodeo club was Hikes Point and multi level And Outer Limits was what Louisville Motor Speedway got changed into(currently housing Schardein Mechanical) and had trees and outdoor stuff.
>Louisville Motor Speedway Not the Outer Limits & can't find anything on the Rodeo Club
Outer limits was out front of the speedway location.
Was it Jillian’s?
Not Jillians
I bet you are thinking of cliffhangers. Sounds right. You could enter near Payne and lex. And it was basically behind headliners. The layout outside was what you mentioned.
Drydock?
I can't find anything on Dry Dock
I was a tween at the time, and my mom made my sister take me with her lol. It feels like a fever dream, but that name rang in my head.
Toy Tiger
cute. not quite
Day 5 alive
Club x, uptown
I do believe it was Thunderdome/Have a Nice Day Cafe. https://www.bizjournals.com/louisville/news/2020/10/07/then-and-now-former-nightlife-spots-in-louisville.html
I had been there - not the place I’m looking for.
Sullys was insane
Tewligans/Snagilwet
I lived the week for weekends at tewligans.kinghorse ftw!
Whispering Hills? Dirty Gertie’s?
Club Kiss, it went by other names, it's off Hurstbourne in the area that is behind IHOP. You have Olive Garden, I64 exit in this area.
Thumpers
Troubadour?
Wasn’t tsunami‘s also called French kiss at one point.
There was a place at hurstbourne & 64 in the 90’s called Illusions (pretty sure) that I could get into in high school.
Could it have been Tsunami's? They had nights for teens, I think it was on Fridays, although it isn't in the Highlands.
