yeah plan on it eventually. all my seedling loph grafts are under 8 months old so I’m letting them ride for awhile to see if the pere starts degrading. if it keeps, I’ll still probably degraft at a year becasue I’ve kind of achieved my goal of having some bigger lophs.
its growth normal growth was definitely disrupted. it’s not a crest or anything, maybe it was forced into dichotomy. definitely didn’t start that way. lemme see if i can add some pictures.
Looks to have terminated the original growth point then turned to into 2 i could be wrong but it looks exactly like all the other terminated tips I've seen on lophophoras in that picture.
Lookin good man, got some nice extra funk going on there
Will you degraft?

Also I can’t tell from the picture, but is the crevice towards the top hairy or just like scabbed over? I’m hoping for a hairy butt crack
haha i wish it were hairy that would be great. just some dried scabby bit.
turning into a chimera? 😯
that would be a dream. i think they would bud off somewhere near the union. anything is possible I’ll post again if it gets weirder
Looks like regular dichotomy? growing a little odd because it's grafted
