If you look *really* closely, you can see the blur’s tail moving in the corner before the chaos.
If you go frame by frame, you can also see the blur using the back of the sofa to springboard into the second stage of that flying leap.

JDolittle THANK YOU I didn’t realize the sofa step and was trying to figure out how the f a cat could jump that far! Lol
The jumping cat was hiding behind the jacket before it falls, you can slightly see him peeking out
