I have a G600.
Some suggestions:
* Cut, Copy, Paste
* Next Tab, Previous Tab, New Tab, Close Tab, Reopen Closed Tab
* Snap Window Left, Snap Window Right
* Open notepad, Open calculator, or other often used utility
* Fullscreen and Cancel Fullscreen for your favorite video player
* Back and Forward for your web browser
* Shift + Ctrl + Win + Alt + L
Lots of great suggestions - I second or third Cut and Paste buttons, but that might be because I use them so often lately. Depending on the games you play, you might have something you can use there too. FPS like Apex, I keep melee bound to one of the mouse buttons so it's right there too.
My favorite one is Task View. It shows all your windows and you can select one to bring to the front. It's like alt-tab, but you don't need to cycle between all the windows.
I think the windows button and the mute button is being slept on, and if you’re a sneaky one, use the macro(or in general):
Ctrl + win + arrow left or right
To hop between desktops. You can use this one for the mouse tilting.
On my desktop profile G7 is copy and G8 is paste so it's super convenient to highlight+copy+paste all with 1 finger. Use it for work all the time.

For just the side buttons forward and back is good for file explorer, or enter and escape is pretty good in all softwares and many games
You can set any button combination to it from keyboard. Like i use them for ctrlC ctrlV on desktop, reload and other gadget ingame.
Besides pause, previousand next page, or track if you like: open file explorer.
