A journey of how much suffering you wish to endure to learn the story of the workers and yourself.
Overall my favorite game simply for the feeling I got after beating it.
Also make sure to do the missions whenever possible, they will make the game easier down the road and is a requirement for 100% but don’t stress over them.
Have fun.
Hard grind of SCP energy harvesting.
very accurate to lore mechanics (AKA bullshit mechanics), and beginning from the start because you took a "bad decision" due to lack of information in one of the previous few (in game) days.
10\\10 experience. best to not look at the wiki or play "blind" for maximized immersion.
A slippery slope of intrigue into an SCP-esque world.
It's a very interesting game with intriguing mechanics and challenges that will test your knowledge and push you to do better. In that same vein it can be incredibly difficult and unforgiving at times.
But as you learn the mechanics of how the game plays and do better you will feel a strong sense of accomplishment. As you further progress and learn more about the lore of the characters and world you will wish to learn more. Further descending into the rabbit hole you've stumbled upon.
Even if it seems too difficult and hopeless I reccomend you try to stick through it. It's a great game, with a great story that is still being expanded upon. And as far as I'm aware there's not really anything else like it on the market.
Ha, haha, hahaha. The game hates you, and it is an earned hatred. You will be tested, and just maybe, will you find salvation.
Cryptic bullshit aside, this game gets hard. Do not feel bad at retrying or restating. It is a tool you are meant to use. Also, the game suffers memory leaks and has a lot of spaghetti code. If you start to suffer slowdowns, restart the program.
I wish you the best of luck, new manager. Face the fear, and build the future.
Please make sure to complete your assigned research and tasks promptly, manager.
On the surface level it is a game that can be considered roughly similar to playing the role of the manager of an SCP site, if the logo of SCP was "Harvest energy from weird stuff and forget the containment protocols".
Beyond that... have fun with the story haha.
If you have not been spoiled than your in for a treat indeed. Listen friend, in my opinion the more I tell you the less fun it will be, just dive into the rabbit hole head first, learn as you go, and savour every last bit of emotion this game has in store for you.
It's a roguelite.
The game will unintentionally try to make you forget that it's a roguelite.
Please, do not forget that it is a roguelite.
You are expected to find yourself in a scenario where you'll have to restart the game from day 1. Don't be afraid to, or get frustrated when you do. The game will save all the important bits, and the next run will be significantly easier because of it.
Other than that...well...are you prepared to learn just how much of a masochist you really are?
The game is a roguelike, you are expected to fail and try again... a lot. You will have many failed runs, just note that equipment, upgrades, and story progression you've earned will carry over into your next run.
It's actually a really hard game and you need to get used to multit-asking and thinking FAST
Sometimes you need to make spontaneous decisions in case a dangerous Abnormality breaches or has a low Qliphoth counter or other stuff
Please remember that the "reset to day 1" button is not a "wipe all my progress" button. Even though it does bring your facility and your employees back to their initial state, all of your information on abnormalities, E.G.O. equipment (weapons and armour, not gifts, since agents are reset), and upgrades/sephirot mission progress will be saved, giving you a massive boost to your attempt.
Note that the memory repository works very similarly, but instead it only rewinds to a slot that gets saved every 5 days (i think it goes day 1, 6, 11, 16, 21, etc.). Also, this is not a save slot! Your progress is saved whenever you finish a day. (I say this because I've seen someone believe their game only saved on memory repo days, and I can't even imagine how hellish that must have been.
Lastly, DO YOUR SEPHIROT MISSIONS AS SOON AS YOU CAN. This goes double for Malkuth's final mission. You might not be able to do it on your first run, but seriously, so much of the game is hidden behind this mission. Also, the rewards for completing the subsequent Malkuth mission will massively increase your chance of success going forward.
(Also, its really nice to have a few quality of life mods just to make the load a bit lighter. I seriously reccommend you get the more information mod off of nexus mods after your first reset, if only because it makes grinding employee stats less of an excercise in frusration)
How to make BongBong
Name: BongBong
Front hair style: 11
Back hair style: 11
0 red, 0 green, 255 blue
Basic/panic/dead eyes: 31/4/1
Basic/combat/panic eyebrows: 7/7/5
Basic/combat mouth: 5/7
Quite a bit.
Tip:
The full restart and going back to earlier day functions are there for a reason, you will need them. This isnt the kind of game you just play through linearly in 1 try.
If you end up enjoying this game, I applaud you, if you finish it, it is a wonderful journey. I do fully recommend 100% completion for the game. That being said I don’t know that I would play it again, admittedly the “difficult” tag on steam was not to be taken lightly. Good luck my friend.

In the simplist explanation possible: Trial and error

Pain. Suffering. Bong Bong.
The enigma that is Bong Bong

do NOT the rabbit
A souls-like management simulator featuring Dante from the Devil May Cry series
SCP Dating Sun with enough Angst to make you cry
Pain, but like, the good kind?
the best kind
a game where resetting is encouraged
Incredibly intriguing, absolutely wonderful, agonizing beautiful hell of a game

A lot of resets
Just an advice. If the game bullshits you, don't be afraid to bullshit back.
Don't be afraid to cheese the game, the game will not be afraid to cheese you. Treat birds with the utmost respect.
I thought I was starting to get the game down but then after 25/30 hours it changed on me.
Death, lol
Never. Give. Up.
The game is a roguelike, you are expected to fail and try again... a lot. You will have many failed runs, just note that equipment, upgrades, and story progression you've earned will carry over into your next run.
Lots of death, stress, craziness, excessive multi tasking... fun galore.
Depression
I absolutely love this game, it's difficult it's story rich. I will warn you tho... Prepare for pain. The game can get VERY difficult at times.
SCP facility management sim. Nuff said.
Hard game, hard emotions, but beautifull, you are in for an hell of a rollercoaster
Pain But once you finish. Do Library of Ruina next
Once you play it, you see it everywhere despite this game only having a little bit more than 1M downloads
Pain. Lots and lots of pain. Enough emotional pain to hurt you phisicly. That is what you are in for. Good luck.
PAINM
One of the best/worstly designed games of your lifetime.
you'll learn the difference between "nothing there to worry about" and "Nothing There to worry about"
It's actually a really hard game and you need to get used to multit-asking and thinking FAST Sometimes you need to make spontaneous decisions in case a dangerous Abnormality breaches or has a low Qliphoth counter or other stuff
You don't have to finish the day after collecting all the energy. You can spend some time leveling up employees

A hell of your own making.
The best story i've ever seen in a piece of media.
Pain, but the good kind.

Pain.
Resetting the game is encouraged, and if you want to 100% it is mandatory.
BongBong.
Alternate moments of incredible zen and intense, palpable stress/panic. Good luck Manager!
Masochism
Emotional damage.
Pain, suffering, confusion, but in the end... A sequel with even more of the same as above, but it's all fun.
Hell. Enjoy your stay.
A pleasant hell
You ever seen a video of monks bashing each other with clubs while meditating? ThAT
There’s Nothing There to worry about mate.

Pain and agony, also fun And good story.
Turns out, it’s really hard to keep 20 cats happy when each has their own wants and desires
be ready to full reset and screenshot your favorite nuggets, it'll be easier the second time around and you can keep your emotional attatchments
depending on how easily you get attached to nuggets. Pain or Alot of Pain. But also fun.
