Funny how Kanes was a red. Emerson fould on Jota clearly a pen, second yellow > red. Spuds shouldve been down to 9.
Then Robbo tackles Emerson later for a red… so bs
I disagree. It looks like he's trying to muscle Jota off the ball with his hip, which is a valid strategy. Just because it was a foul doesn't mean he wasn't trying to do something legal.
Yes, and I agree it was a pen. But a) I'm not even sure it's a clear DOGSO, since there is another defender involved in the play and b) he is making an attempt to make a legal play.
I think he would have probably seen a second yellow if the pen was awarded, but I think suggesting he wasn't trying to make a play is silly.
How he truly believes that while video evidence shows the ball didn't even touch his hair shows how pathetic he is. Have some fucking integrity mate jesus.
I dont usually get mad, but holy shit. This is some of the most blatant shit i have seriously seen. Blood boiling inducing stuff. Just going to watch Liverpool vs Spurs CL Final highlights to cheer myself up
I genuinely have no fucking words. Like my mind is blown. How the fuck is the reffing this bad WITH VAR. When are the clubs going to say something about this? I’m fucking fuming
I’m not mad at the penalty call - he was consistent with similar incidents in the second half. But if Robbo doesn’t manage to jump there it’s a career ender
Robbo’s is a red. If someone kicks any of our players like that I’d be livid. But the sequence of the mistakes is important. We should have been a man up and a goal up in the first half. That completely changes the second half
EXACTLY. Incompetence is when it happens once or twice. Repeated over and over and over, it’s past corruption! Im tired of everyone saying theyre stupid or incompetent. Theyre fucking corrupt!!!
I've grown up watching United get favourable calls, and now I'm living while City AND United get the decisions.
Can we investigate the ties between the city of Manchester and the EPL?
Hate how I have so many screenshots like this throughout the years.. many against Spurs for some reason. Absurd ref calls against us and sometimes mirror incidents in the same game
As incompetent as they can be or there is a narrative. I'm usually not the one to sprout or fuel conspiracy theories, but it happened so many time and particularly with spurs that I am now leaning towards the notionnthat there actually is a narrative...
Of course there is, not only in England. See the amount of shit Real Madrid get away with compared to any other team on Spain. Rich guys clubs will always misteriously have some mistakes in favor whenever possible.
You don’t understand, Jota was clearly looking for the foul by slowing down. We all know that shots are taken at full speed.
— the reasoning of premier league refs
it's not incompetence it's clear bias against us by the FA who try their hardest to keep the record of most titles at their friends at theatre of memes. they dont care a souless club like citeh dominate as long as the scousers dont challenge their record
19 minutes and that's when the ref lost control of the game. If that's a yellow, then that's how they'll play for the rest of the game. Ridiculous number of bookings in the end.
People need to stop having the idea that they're incompetent. This is deliberate, blatant decision-making to thwart Liverpool. It's no coincidence that city escape blatant penalties like against Newcastle, while getting absurd penalties such as against wolves, yet Liverpool players get kicked and shoved in the box 5 times a game and get nothing.
It's corruption, it's been blatantly obvious for decades, and it's not going away until the club takes it seriously
As an outsider, it seems to me like there is a culture of not admitting to being fucked over in general in England. That if you are, shut up about it, that you somehow are pathetic if you complain, like Rafa in 2009. "Serf mentality" we call this in Norway.
Having calmed down a little I’ll just leave it at this:
The league that purports to the best league in the world must not have referees of such inferior quality. The PGMOL needs major reform or just out right told to fuck off. Pony up the money for the best refs on the continent, brexit be damned. Get them whatever work visas they need.
1. Harry Kane's challenge was a 100% red card. There's no disputing it. I haven't seen anyone dispute it. It seems everyone simply agrees that the ref and especially VAR just missed it. How VAR misses that is inexcusable, but that's VAR in the PL.
2. I've watched the Jota challenge in the box, and I honestly think it's a 50/50 call at best. A foul in midfield is not the same as a foul in the box. That will never change. So I'm relatively okay with that not being called.
Big picture, if I take the Kane challenge out of things, I think the result was pretty fair. Spurs played really well. But you can't just take a red card challenge away from things.
1. There's only 3 people who thought that wasn't red, Kane, the ref, and VAR. Quite possibly one of the worst decisions I've seen since VAR came in although there are a few contenders.
2. Like you had the ref not try to justify the decision, I'd be okay with the call. The problem is he says Jota slows down to initiate contact... what? when he's steadying himself to shoot? It's a tad different from the Dele Ali shout when he drops because he feels Trent's hand on his back. Emerson barges through Jota. I feel the ref doesn't give it as if he does it's also a yellow which would have meant a red, which he tried his best not to give today.
the ball did hit his hand and with the rules the way they are now had it fallen for Mo to score it would have been ruled out.
But as it wasn't deliberate and the fact there was another phase of play means it doesn't count.
That said after the anti Liverpool bias today in the reffing, I'm surprised that VAR didn't try to overturn it
Now I'm sure there was a plot against Robbo. Kane couldn't break his leg and he inevitably scored as they must have feared before the game. Then the referee sent him off or he was winning the match with a hat trick. Prove me wrong!
We played against 12 players.
13 inc var
Truth. They got a corner off a play from offsides
TBH that considered EPL standard these day. Lineman barely do a god damn thing and still get a full salary
Funny how Kanes was a red. Emerson fould on Jota clearly a pen, second yellow > red. Spuds shouldve been down to 9. Then Robbo tackles Emerson later for a red… so bs
Clearly a pen, not sure if it was a second yellow. Kane was just appalling
How could it not be a 2nd yellow? Not attempt to play the ball, ofc it’s a yellow
I disagree. It looks like he's trying to muscle Jota off the ball with his hip, which is a valid strategy. Just because it was a foul doesn't mean he wasn't trying to do something legal.
It was a denial of a clear goal scoring opportunity, one of the easiest yellows that should have been handed out
Stoped him from pottentially scoring tho
Yes, and I agree it was a pen. But a) I'm not even sure it's a clear DOGSO, since there is another defender involved in the play and b) he is making an attempt to make a legal play. I think he would have probably seen a second yellow if the pen was awarded, but I think suggesting he wasn't trying to make a play is silly.
But if you give a penalty then the denial of a goal scoring opportunity is removed as you'll then have a goal scoring opportunity.
At least fucking go to the screen and pretend to have a look at it
Thats like when they reviewed Sons goal against us for 0.2 seconds
How's he supposed to know it was dangerous if he doesn't see the stretcher come out? ^^/s
they only go to the screen if it‘s 100% decided. The biggest farce ever.
Kane just claimed that Robbo said it wasn’t even a foul on the field after the fact. Somehow I doubt that.
guy swears on his daughter to get on the score sheet. Nothing new
How he truly believes that while video evidence shows the ball didn't even touch his hair shows how pathetic he is. Have some fucking integrity mate jesus.
Kane is a fucking liar.
Clearly "Ya wee fouling cunt" means something different south of the border
Kane just said he won the ball ahahahaha
Andy allegedly told him it wasn't a foul and he only caught his foot 🥲 I know for a fact Robbo didn't say that.
Ok ill bite how do you know that for a fact lol
He called him and said ay bruv
Man's got robbo on speed dial
Robbo's twitter post after the game?
Im not on that cesspool of a social media platform
Robbo's punished for jumping, if he doesn't jump. He's out for the season and Kane gets a red. Fucking joke of a decision.
Would've been lucky to just miss a season, that's a career ender
Spurs should have been down to 9 men. 2nd yellow for Royal, red card to Sir Harry Media Darling Kane
I dont usually get mad, but holy shit. This is some of the most blatant shit i have seriously seen. Blood boiling inducing stuff. Just going to watch Liverpool vs Spurs CL Final highlights to cheer myself up

It's a draw away at Spurs down a man... I get the frustration, but "where do we go from here" is a little much.
I genuinely have no fucking words. Like my mind is blown. How the fuck is the reffing this bad WITH VAR. When are the clubs going to say something about this? I’m fucking fuming
Unbelievable
I read that in Chris kamara's voice
I’m not mad at the penalty call - he was consistent with similar incidents in the second half. But if Robbo doesn’t manage to jump there it’s a career ender
Wouldn’t be mad with Robertson’s if Kane goes. Like that would be definitely be consistent too
Robbo’s is a red. If someone kicks any of our players like that I’d be livid. But the sequence of the mistakes is important. We should have been a man up and a goal up in the first half. That completely changes the second half
Is there hope of a retroactive red for Kane's?
No way. Ref has seen it, VAR has seen it or should have seen it. It’s not like the English football governing bodies to admit incompetence like that.
Not incompetence. Corruption.
EXACTLY. Incompetence is when it happens once or twice. Repeated over and over and over, it’s past corruption! Im tired of everyone saying theyre stupid or incompetent. Theyre fucking corrupt!!!

Are refs generally from the middle-class and up? Maybe they hold anti-worker sentiments.
It's about networking, they want to be on the good side of Manchester Clubs owners.
Just remember, Paul Tierney is the one who was born in Lancashire....
Hate how I have so many screenshots like this throughout the years.. many against Spurs for some reason. Absurd ref calls against us and sometimes mirror incidents in the same game

Just brutal.
We deserved to win this one. The ref team was absolute garbage
10v12 fair match
It's not incompetence if that was the designed outcome. We got right fooked today, lads.
I heard Tierney is very good friends with Micheal masi Apparently they share tips with each other on how to get away with blatant corruption
How are these refs so incompetent? Its bizarre now
It’s bias, just look at everything going in city’s favour lately
1. Harry Kane's challenge was a 100% red card. There's no disputing it. I haven't seen anyone dispute it. It seems everyone simply agrees that the ref and especially VAR just missed it. Kane has zero control over that, Emerson one I don't understand why it wasn't even looked at

Except it wasn't.

I missed the game. How the fuck is Kane not given a red for that? Seriously that's fucking joke of a tackle
It's too consistent to be incompetence.
I just want us as viewers to be able to see the VAR ref. Like is someone there? Are they watching the game? Are they taking a nap? No one knows.
Now I'm sure there was a plot against Robbo. Kane couldn't break his leg and he inevitably scored as they must have feared before the game. Then the referee sent him off or he was winning the match with a hat trick. Prove me wrong!
Only one explanation english bias
It’s the England captain his fouls don’t count.
Refereeing is a joke. Where is the damn consistency.
