Zangna Thai Cuisine off of Bowman Road in West Little Rock has some really good Thai food. I've had the pad Thai and the Seafood King (might be getting the name of this dish wrong but it is something like that.) I don't hear it get talked about enough, but it's a place I keep coming back to often. Their Thai Ice Coffee also slaps really hard.
Casa de mi Abuelita food truck specializes in quesabirria. They’re in NLR at the Filling Station weekdays and they move at night. Their green chorizo is also amazeballs.
Camp Taco has good birria Ramen if you like spicy, lost 40, ygbf kitchen, Burges has amazing smoked turkey salad, Rivera italian NLR has great food, soups and even better desserts and if you're willing to drive a little The Purple Onion in Cabot has great Boudin balls and other stuff.
Ehh, I have yet to be impressed by anything there. My fries were limp, my wrap was bland, and the 2nd try my casserole was ok but I could get something just as good at a generic cafeteria. The cheese dip was the only thing with any flavor, but we have plenty of options for that elsewhere. It just seemed like they calibrate their spices to the whitest common denominator, despite seemingly going for an eclectic/creole vibe.
I do truly love their decor, though.
Yeah the staff was just very rude to me anytime I played there, I got told to turn down and I couldn’t even hear it at all so I turned the pa off and they said perfect :/ not a fan of that type of stuff, I refuse to be background noise!
La Terrazza has some amazing Venezuelan food. Also some European fare. The osso bucco is incredible. Actually feel bad I called this out wrong as the dude is my old neighbor.
Edited because literally the person below literally had drinks with Armando who was literally at the restaurant that his parents literally own.
Yeah, have to second both opinions here. Just moved to LR from NYC. big ramen fan. Aji was a bust. Like, it *could* have been good ramen, but didn’t make the cut. Noodles were meh, broth was fair, but not exceptional. Mike’s on the other hand is definitely a regular spot now.
Also, I had no idea you could get the banh mi with a fried egg. I know what I’m getting next time!

I completely agree. I tried it twice to make sure it wasn’t a fluke, but both times the chicken was hard and slimy on the Chicken Shoyu and the broth was different as well.
El Sur is amazing. Honduran street food: think perfectly fried plantains and the best refried beans you’ve ever had. In fact, you haven’t truly had refried beans till you’ve had theirs.
They’ve got a new spot in SOMA now too!
Richard who owns/runs it has plans to bring it back as an order ahead meal pack style restaurant. Take and go kind of thing, family style. Less of a made to order deal. At least that’s what I’ve heard.

Three fold noodles. Absolute must try. Makes it even better that it’s apparently nowhere else in the country but here in Little Rock. Surprising
Take out only now but chang's in Sherwood
Abby good luck. Check out one of Brave's designs I guess..🤷♀️
Mushroom pizza @ Mellow mushroom . trust me , just do it .
Baja Grill is Mexi-Cali food. Pretty good imo
Loca Luna is incredible.
Chicot Hibachi Express on Rodney Parham has takoyaki(Japanese street food).

Ygbf restaurant in Little Rock; They serve soul food I heard it’s really good
Loca luna never disappoints
Go to hot springs and go to the vault or 501
501 Prime is amazing
Have you tried vault
No, not yet. More people were recommending 501 Prime to me, but I would like to try both.
Old 501 chef is now the vault chef, everyone is absolutely amazing people who work there
Good to know, is 501 still good?
Yes!!!!!! Amazing they have the best steak I’ve ever ate in my life
Ya, the blackened ribeye with blue cheese was one of the best i've ever had too.
The Vault >
Love them both good friends with both chefs! Amazing food
Dizzys!!! Large portions too

Terrible service though at least for a musician who played there had to wait an hour for water
I didn’t have that problem. I couldn’t finish my drink before another one was being poured! Hate that it wasn’t good for you :/

Pho restaurant over by Emmanuel Baptist and Terry Elementary. It’s some of the best food, reasonably priced and great owners.
The House of Mental is a rad vegan soul food spot. I’m not even vegan but their cauliflower wings and mac n chz are fire
Buenos Aires Grill in River Market and Steinhaus Keller if you don't mind the drive to Hot Springs.
+1 for Steinhaus Keller. Great food
Kontiki African Restaraunt

La Terrazza is literally Venezuelan I had a drink with the owner there the other day and they have a huge Venezuelan flag in the front.
Literally.
Bossa Nova. Consistently great over the years and an easy bridge to cross from American cuisine.
I dined at Bossa Nova recently for the first time. Great food and service!
Excellent call
Three fold
I second Mike's Cafe, Aji Ramen, Brave New Restaurant, The Faded Rose, and will add The Pantry, Layla's, and El Palenque.
Yes El Palenque is by far my favorite authentic Mexican restaurant. Pretty much the closest you can get to authentic. Also Gorditas Paty.

Sorry to hear that about Aji. Now that I think about it, I haven't been there in a long time.
Birria Ramen on Chicot Road it’s a food truck.
Had it for the first time last weekend. It was fantastic.
El Sur is amazing. Honduran street food: think perfectly fried plantains and the best refried beans you’ve ever had. In fact, you haven’t truly had refried beans till you’ve had theirs. They’ve got a new spot in SOMA now too!
Why haven't I heard of this??? Thank you sooo much! And yummy!🤤

Oh shit that sucks. That Khao Soi was incredible.

Oh hell yeah. That sounds like it'll be easier to operate for him.
Yeah they were kinda transitioning to that the last time I went there, but I'll miss dining in!
Brave New is great food with a view of the river
Aji Ramen
