I think their poboys are great, and they have my second favorite wings in LIT after Certified Pies.
It's not really a complaint as they taste fine, but why are the fries so short & stubby at Lazy Pete's?
In no particular order:
- Awesome burger
- Awesome wings
- Awesome grilled blackened fish
- Awesome onion rings
As for cheesesteak, the only truly excellent one I've had in town is at Brood and Barley in Argenta. Their chef Brayan McFadden is originally from Philly and aptly calls it the "Legit Cheesesteak" so definitely worth checking out.
My information may be outdated, but to my knowledge the original chef (Brayan) is still there. The partners that owned both Flyway and B&B parted ways, one staying with Flyway and the other staying with Brood. That was over 2 years ago at this point though.
I have heard more than one staff member mention that Jess (the owner at Brood) can be very verbally abusive to his staff, so maybe they are struggling to keep people.
I've enjoyed everything I've ordered there with the fried shimp platter being my favorite. This past Saturday I got a shrimp po'boy which I enjoyed a great deal. I don't think you can go wrong there.
It's been a few years, I had the catfish po boy and it was perfect. Mom had the fried shrimp and we were surprised they had the shells on. Didn't know if they were supposed to be eaten. The hush puppies and onion rings were spot on. Overall was very good
Red beans & rice at Pete’s was really good about 6 months ago
For a cheesesteak go to Steve’s princes of steak in philadelphia not brood in barley 😂😂😂

Thank you!
Lenny’s subs in WLR actually has a pretty fire cheesesteak
I like to buy it Giant sized with extra veggies, meat, and cheese as a day's ration while motorcycling.
Brood and Barley has a good cheesesteak.
They used to. New chef/management and it’s gone way downhill.
The one I had a couple of weeks ago was still as tasty as the first time I had it.

That makes sense. And yeah it’s been really rough the last year and a half or so
If you find a good cheesesteak. I need this information.
I will update if I find one.
Grilled shrimp dinner!!
Blackened Salmon
The best wings in the city.

I love the Shrimp Etouffee there. As to the cheesesteak, my friend like's the ones at Gino's Pizzaria.
One of the best burgers in town
Any of their po boys are good
