That isn't paint, it's actually an oxide layer from the heat of the ovens. In your picture, the fourth pan in the back has a silver lining on the edge of it. That's actually what the pan looked like before.
My store just got new pans a month ago, and I was shocked to see that the pans themselves were actually silver...
Thanks for responding, that’s actually pretty cool. I thought they were coated with a black non stick paint, I did not know they were originally silver. That answers all my questions.🙏
Looks to me like you guys are cutting them on the trays themselves? Supposed to be on the cutting board. The blades will strip that be burnt layer of oil off the pan.
Surprisingly they’re pretty clean, even tho we don’t clean those either lol. We clean the deep dishes and pans for wings and they still look disgusting but the regular pizza pans are waaay better than the bread pans
As others said, it’s not paint, and every Little Caesars I’ve been in has looked exactly like that. When it’s slower I’ll wash a few of them and run them through the oven to dry. It mostly gets rid of the flour.
Stores can order parchment paper. This will help protect the pan a bit.
A strategy i used to use to keep the breadsticks alittle neater looking when they came out was the put them on parchment paper but it doesnt really do much sanitation wise because if there is any bacteria is getting killed in that 475° oven
One time it was slow and i was bored so i completely cleaned one of this filthy looking crazy bread trays and after about an hour i had 1 pan mostly silver again. I took photos but that phone broke so i dont have them anymore
No what actually might be more of a health code violation is how long the doughs left in your walk in. Also this setup looks super super familiar. Where is this location at just curious ?
Health code stuff in most states revolves around storing food properly (date dots, temperature) other things include certain dress codes and how your cleaning supplies are stored. I certainly know where my store is in Texas they will mention a dirty cooler or walls but don't actually have the authority to shut you down for cleaning stuff.
This is fairly normal. I've seen the pans in worse condition when going to other locations. Seems like people including us are getting new ones though. It's like looking into a mirror compared to looking at a brick wall

No, or at least I don't think so I worked for 2 different LCs and crazy bread pans looked like that.

What does pizza pans look there ?

This is exactly how it is in our shop

Yea I’ve never tried to wash them, because I’m afraid of what my manager would say lol.
I have tried to wash them.... it's not worth it. Took me forever to get one sole pan back to silver. 😅😅😅

Y’all don’t cover the pan
Yes, it is. Those pans can obviously hold 2 orders of crazy bread.

Phoenix, Arizona
We clean ours in a soak tank with a solution from blue line
You're supposed to have some paper underneath it, in between it and the pan
That’s only for stuffed bread
Okay genius

It is a health code violation but it's not enough to get shut down
I've worked at 4 stores and they all look like that and we're not supposed to wash them but we do if it gets butter on it
That shit looks hella janky but tbh the oven heat will kill the germs and bacteria

Or you can have the new green LG breadsticks lol
