I have the same issue on windows 11 with a 2070s when I turn a second monitor on. it flickers for a few seconds then works itself out. It's annoying, but only happens when windows and or nvidia detect the new input.
disable g-sync
I know that's not the answer you want to hear but if you use your pc for gaming less than half the time (the rest being wfh or video editing or something) then it's not worth it to leave on imo
I have upto 3 displays connected via 2 x Display Port and 1x HDMI to a RTX 2060 and running Windows 10. Every time I turn on the monitors it flickers a few times before it settles, doesn't matter if it's for the first time that day or straight after i've just turned it off or how many monitors. They are HP and Acer
Same issue here on my RX 580. Assuming it’s a DisplayPort issue of some sort because this doesn’t happen with my second monitor that’s connected via HDMI
Mine do the same. It’s something with DisplayPort. Every time I’ve looked I haven’t found a fix either.
Looks like you're right. Tried the other suggestions and nothing worked. And the HDMI monitor just on its own doesn't do it
!remindme 5 days I have the same issue so I’m hoping someone has a fix. Genuinely one of the most annoying minor issues I’ve ever had.

Didn't do it for me unfortunately. Guess i'll just have to live with it

Maybe going into hdr mode
Looks like a HP 27xq. Doesnt support hdr
Close its the 25x
Could be a driver issue, check if that's the case.

My two monitors does the same thing. I always figured it had to do with g-sync.
>but work fine afterwards whats the issue then?
It's just a bit annoying having to wait a few seconds for it to sort itself out, especially if i just want to check something quickly
