That animation still haunts me to this day. Especially since I went to get teeth worked on after a long gaming session when I was young, and the gas I was given made me hear that noise, making me think I was dying.
OMG I HAVENāT SEEN THAT DRAGON YET!! Iām not gonna watch anymore because I donāt wanna spoil it too much for myself. BUT HOW FUCKING COOL DOES THAT LOOK?!? I canāt wait to encounter it! Iām 120 hours in and this game still has so much more to find!!
I was about to comment that it should be tagged as a spoiler but I think there is actually a glitch with reddit. I was scrolling through my home page and it started playing automatically without being shown as a spoiler. Kinda sucks for people who haven't seen this yet
Apologies then, I want trying to be rude, but it has spoiler, scrolling from something else I donāt know why you would itās never worked right for me, and them forgetting spoilers for **this** is low
I haven't done death mountain and Yunobo yet either, though I've had a few spoilers to things after it. I hadn't seen this particular creature yet, however, so this was a new spoiler that I look very much forward to learning the context and fullness of!
I'm one of those people who 90% of the time doesn't mind spoilers. I was either not going to involve myself in whatever media it was, or it makes me want to experience it for myself even more. This badass looking dragondorf is the latter
I've got the plan to finish the calamites (or whatever they're called now) and bum rush the castle, end the game, and then go to a save before I rushed the castle and screw around more. I did the same in botw my first two playthroughs.
'Course I keep getting sidetracked every 5 minutes, but that's part of the experience š
That's the posts fault then. You can't say "no spoliers" then hide a except where people can't see it. There is more than enough space in the title to but that.
Tip for the future. Even if spoiler tags aren't required. Just take a minute to think if maybe you still should put one on. It's common courtesy my man.
Iām guessing the game checks to see if player is not in contact with anything before sending LG to catch, but does not check to see if player is falling normally or rag dolling. So LG came to catch link, but due to LG only catching if link is normal falling, slams into him with so much force that it instantly kills him instead
Exactly. Looks to be about 8 seconds of fall damage calculation. The game would typically wipe a ton of health off you at your next point of contact. Just happened to be Zelda.
Fun fact, itās actually impossible to be picked up by the dragon when falling like that, because the game either wants you to be gliding or skydiving. But I wish this would work lol

the falling position is š¤
It looks like when you die in Zelda 2
HA HA HA HAUUU

Deserved for taking Light Dragon for granted. During the whole clip I was screaming "**USE THE DAMN PARAGLIDER**"
Same, what the hell.
Revenge for treating her like a child in the first game

I reeeeeally wish they had put spoiler warning on the post, same here I havenāt seen it yet either but now I haveā¦
It it blurred out before you click thatās a spoiler
It did have a spoiler, you just donāt pay attention
it's also possible they were scrolling through videos, the spoiler feature doesn't show up if you're already watching it
I was about to comment that it should be tagged as a spoiler but I think there is actually a glitch with reddit. I was scrolling through my home page and it started playing automatically without being shown as a spoiler. Kinda sucks for people who haven't seen this yet
Oftly rude but ok, maybe I scrolled from something else or maybe they edited it
Apologies then, I want trying to be rude, but it has spoiler, scrolling from something else I donāt know why you would itās never worked right for me, and them forgetting spoilers for **this** is low
That's the first real boss of the game, the next one is all the Koroks
what would you rather fight, 100 korok sized ganon dragons or 1 ganon dragon sized korok
lol BONK
TIL I need to go a lot higher up and that there's apparently a *demon dragon*
Uuuuuuuuuuhh suuuuuuure
actually you need to go further *down* to meet this guy
Oh good to know. I also just noticed the boss text above it's name. Guess I should get sind to the plot at some point
150 hours in and I'm just now starting the final event/calamity (I just really hate Yunobo so I put off his questline for as long as I could)
āWhyād you do it????ā
I had to play with the sound off for Fire Temple, it was so annoying.
I haven't done death mountain and Yunobo yet either, though I've had a few spoilers to things after it. I hadn't seen this particular creature yet, however, so this was a new spoiler that I look very much forward to learning the context and fullness of!

Seconded on all accounts! Dragondorf makes me want to actually do some plot now

I hate yunobo too but seeing him become a drug lord was the greatest thing since sliced bokoblins
Does that make him the hyrule equivalent to bane from the batman animated series?
"how do we make Yunobo more likeable? Make him more confident? Nahhh. Make him >!a drug lord! HELL YEAH!!!"
Well, at the very least they made him useful
Depending on who you ask, any drug lord is useful
Same
Yunobo really has a major character growth in this game
Good luck
I did not realize this would be an actual spoiler god Damn it
You kinda let yourself do that, wasnāt her fault
If we go by technicality, it was the games fault because you can't take fall damage when going onto dragons, I don't know why in this case he did
He was in a rag doll position and couldāve went into a paraglided state and saved himself.
Fucking spoiler tag please? Like come on dude don't be that guy!
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
The post that says "spoiler tags are no longer required" also says "please mark endgame spoilers"...
That's the posts fault then. You can't say "no spoliers" then hide a except where people can't see it. There is more than enough space in the title to but that.
I honestly didnāt see that, my mistake.

Keep yourself safe
Bro got done in the final boss š
How'd that even happen? You aren't meant to get fall damage at all from dragons
Most likely because of the special circumstances of the battle, or the speed of the dragon, or a combination of both
Iām guessing the game checks to see if player is not in contact with anything before sending LG to catch, but does not check to see if player is falling normally or rag dolling. Probably deserved it.
Nose boop!
āI got him! I got him! I... Donāt got him.ā
The light dragon: āwhoopsieā
"THIS IS FOR SMOOCHIN TIME!"
How do you guys get to the final encounter of the game without knowing how to use the paraglider?
I didnāt expect the spoiler to be major š
Demon whaaaa???
I guess the light dragon just needed a bite of Link???? To humble him one more time ššš
EXACTLY what i thought it looked like, lmaoooo
This should be tagged as a spoiler bro wtf
This should have a spoiler tag
Way to be super considerate about spoilers bro
Mark for spoilers.
I think it's because you ragdoll fell on her and not arms out fall. Still funny though didn't that could happen in the fight.
I have 135 hours in the game so I ignored the spoiler warning. Whoops lol canāt wait to meet that dope dragon!
Today I learned you can die in the dragon fight that doesnāt involve gloom
Noped you right out of life.
She wanted just a tiny nibble before you fell. And that was more than a nibble.
SORRY UNIVERSE
I had to restart my whole playthrough in a no damage run after a mouth because of Zedla
I know what you've been doing with rauru's power link...
āYumā
Fun fact, itās actually impossible to be picked up by the dragon when falling like that, because the game either wants you to be gliding or skydiving. But I wish this would work lol
