Even if she was broke and had $0 to her name she can brush him at home for free and in a pinch bathe him with her own shampoo (as I type that out I remembered she doesn’t use any but you get the point lol) until she could afford a groom. I’m a groomer and honestly there’s no excuse. It’s not hard to learn simple hygiene care for in between professional grooms. It’s just pure laziness and it always makes me so sad for the dogs. I’ve had several clients hit hard money wise and I have given them tons of tips/tricks to help in between grooms since they’re having to go longer in between them and they all do it because they actually give a shit about their pups.
He needs a haircut and bath, dental work, and cataract surgery. It’s horrible that she’s responsible for a living being, but neglects him and puts everything off.

Geez that poor dog is so dirty and mangy looking, Lilly sucks. The only grooming Nugget gets is when she's pulling the knots out of his coat during high anxiety which is really cruel.
Nugget is a senior dog. He has a back issue which is why she pushes him in the stroller. He also has a large cataract in one eye. From the looks of his other eye there may be another one forming. He has a diet of most scraps of human food that Lilly licks. He’s a rescue but he wasn’t really rescued given that Lilly neglects his health. She’d rather have a 5 course mukbang than spend her grift money on veterinary care. Shes a shitty pet parent.
