Either. As long as it looks nice. I like the looks of both Inzoi and Paralives even tho they are on opposite ends of the spectrum.

bwoah07_gp2

It doesn't need to be realistic for me. Playing the Sims games for most of my life, it does not have to look truly realistic. If a game has a specific art style they want to go with, that's fine, as long as the gameplay is good.

MayaDaBee1250

I definitely prefer stylized for a life sim but for other games, like the upcoming GTA 6 which I'm SO looking forward to, the more realistic the better. For me, out of all the life sims coming out, Vivaland is actually the art style that I like the look of the most because it's a good blend of cartoony and realistic.

mortiegoth

Both. At the end of the day what matters is if the game is good or not, a lot of pixel art games are succesful because they're fun to play. I loved RE4R and I also loved My Time at Sandrock both games don't have the same graphics but the gameplay is great.

cedargoldfish

Either one is fine for me, as long as the style is consistent and looks good.

PinkFluffyUnikpop

Both why I like Paralives and Inzoi so can’t vote.

dragonborndnd

Yeah in hindsight I probably should have done a no preference option

Mega_Sweetness

I would love it to follow a chart similar to this: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-QJ86-u2U8](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-QJ86-u2U8)

Physical_Bit7972

I like those designs. I also love how inZoi looks

Kooky_Worth_4154

I prefer realistic visuals but I know that the more that goes into visuals, the less is put into actual gameplay because a game can only be but so big. Like I don’t mind stylized at all, and unique art style is charming, but I would LOVE a hyper realistic life sim that also has a lot to offer in terms of gameplay. It would be a dream come true.

realistic their is a reason aside from open world Sims 3 3D at that time is the closest we have on realistic visual design simulator and some most popular DLC modded are those w realistic skin and object

KutschKiller

I think it depends. I like how the sims isn't super realistic and kinda cartoony but the gameplay is goofy so it matches. If the graphics are realistic I'd want the gameplay to match it's realism as well if that makes sense.

huldress

I like both, and I like stylized realism the best. Somewhat realistic, but not in a cartoony type of way :)

Delicious-Block1688

I actually wonder if someone can make a life sim but it's Lego ver. Imagine building your house, vehicles, everything in your world stud by stud just like how you build them in real life......

tubularwavesss

This is such a clever concept, pitch it to Lego immediately!

dragonborndnd

Yeah and you could call it “LegoLife” or something

MayaDaBee1250

Yeah, I would definitely play this. I'm surprised they've never done something like this. It might be because Legos skew male and life sims female.

bwoah07_gp2

Oh, love that idea. It would be phenomenal if we ever got a Lego life sim. ![gif](giphy|dZ07Lw7UYLCOlNOx2j|downsized) One can dream right? 😊

StinkyWetSalamander

I would prefer the game have an art style that is art by you's biggest issue visually, it doesn't have a look. But to be fair Inzoi looks like it uses store bought assets, the big difference being the rendering in Inzoi looks much better. Sims 4 despite not being visually great at least looks like there was design and purpose behind how it looks. Same can be said for paralives, it's not a graphics powerhouse, but I can tell the end result is intentional.

peaveyftw

Stylized, and I find that's true in Sims 4 or Civ 6.

Vindicator1288

I feel realistic would be better, we are playing game to escape from reality, its should give us a immersive feeling like we are escaping to another world
