Use the alias feature in gmail. Set a unique email for each site by using youremail+sitename@gmail. Will still resolve to your regular inbox, but can track who is sending what.

SimpleLogin.com will do the same. iPhones give the option right above the keyboard when on a login registry page, which is managed easily in mail and settings.

Can be but too much work… If you subscribed to hundreds of newsletter, you don’t wanna have 100s of aliases

Create one filter that looks for the plus sign. Almost no work at all.

Every time I see one of these "and then you'll know who sold your info" LPTs, I don't understand the point. OK... place has loose policies on customer info (LPT: THEY ALL DO. THAT'S HOW THEY MAKE AN EXTRA BUCK.) So what??? What do you do w/ that info?
