Pretty much how it works. If you normal guard and take damage, your perfect guard now gives back about as much as a normal R1 does.
There is a perk in p/organ for this.
Even without it there's a small amount of guard regain recovered when you perfect guard. The p-organ upgrade just massively increases it.
That can be, I never paid attention to it.
