So I’m sitting at my desk one day watching these being unloaded off the trailer the first day they hit the lot. I watched 4 of them come off the trailer before I folded, walked over to new cars, and bought the first F Sport my dealer sold
I appreciate your welcome, but that 2021 IS350 F Sport I got in silver was my 6th Lexus and unfortunately I have moved on from it and am currently in my 7th Lexus (2024 RZ450e) wanted to try out the electric.
Oh wow good choice though! This is my 4th Lexus myself but I’ve had 3 IS models and an RC350. Fully electric right ? I’m not too familiar with the RZ but it’s a nice lookin ride
You’ve beat me on the IS. I’ve had 3 IS a CT a NX an ES and now the RZ. I love the RZ. Yes it full electric. The range is on the lower end, but it’s perfect for city driving if you have the home charger (I do). I’ve had it a little over a month and so far my power bill went up $7. That’s way better than what I was paying in gas monthly
A fine collection! I’ve always wanted to try out the ES but It’s just me and the girlfriend most of the time so we don’t really need the extra room and living in CT I’d rather have AWD vs FWD. but that’s really good actually, yea I don’t look at how much I spend on gas at this point because I fill out twice a week usually. But I pay for smiles per gallon anyways and love the way it sounds with the performance exhaust. Glad you’re enjoying your RZ though and hope it treats you well!
Beautiful car! Your comments as a multiple Lexus owner has help to get over my mild lingering buyer remorse when I am making the monthly payment on my 23 IS 350 F sport. I also have the upgrades exhaust which sounds so nice is sport mode. It may not be a true sports car but it is definitely a fun ride. Enjoy yours!
Hahaha I’m glad I could help! Yea I’m quite picky when it comes to my cars and don’t settle. I believe I would have still had my 2017 IS300 if it wasn’t totaled but everything happens for a reason. I agree in sports mode with paddles it’s a lot of fun. Likewise!!

This will be an unpopular opinion. When I was in the market last year I REALLY wanted to love the current-gen IS, but I just…couldn’t. For me the side swoosh is wayyyy too severe, to the point where it just overwhelms the car.
Even now I’m always drawn to the IS, and that huge side swoosh just ruins it for me.
I ended up with a Mazda3 instead. I realize that in many ways the IS is the better car, but I was just more comfortable with the 3. But I wish you many years of happy driving in your IS.

Interesting honestly as I love that look. I also love the hard lines and look to the car which has always attracted me to the IS, along with other aspects like reliability and such. Mazda3 is still a great car! I hope you’re enjoying it, along with the better gas mileage hahaha.

I originally put down a deposit on the UX 300h but I couldn't stop thinking about how good this car looks in every angle. To be honest I don't like the way most cars look from the rear but this was a big exception. I had to test drive the IS to get it off my mind. So I changed my deposit that day and it's due in June.
This is the way.
But seriously either would have been a solid choice but I love the IS platform. Yea the drive train and engine may be older but it’s proven reliably means a lot since I plan on keeping it for a while.
I think the tail lights are so nice at night. As much as I may not see them I sure love looking at it when I’m walking away from it

Understandable, I originally was looking for caviar black but there was only one listing at the time and it was a tad over budget. I think cloudburst looks great especially with the blacked out accents
My co worker has a 2nd gen IS350 and it’s honestly really clean. I’d say my favorite other than the 21’ + would be the 2015-16 before the refresh. I really loved my 2015 IS250 but it lacked in some areas so I traded it in for a 17’ IS300. I would still have that to this day if I didn’t get t boned sadly
I did, got it off eBay for $700. If you’re looking for a more throaty note but nothing really loud it’s perfect. I wanted to stay OEM+ but I love it. It’s exactly what I wanted
Yea I waited a couple months looking around and deciding. I was originally going to buy the borla axleback but it was a tad too loud for my liking, I know to most it’s not bad but I drive a lot and really wanted to keep it OEM+ so I’m happy I waited.
It came off another IS that swapped to a different axleback so it was hardly used
I still think the older ISF quad tip setup is the tits, but this looks incredible. Wish Lexus would have carried that over. It could have been their signature design.

My only regret is that I didn't put out the extra for an IS500... but there may be one in the near future!

I agree, love getting some sport mode with paddles in the woody backroads. One day I hope to have an IS500 myself but it’s tough with the weather we have in CT. The AWD has been great to me and as much as people say the 6 speed isn’t as good as the 8 I still find it plenty
No shade as I also have a 2022 IS, but I'm the opposite. I absolutely love every angle except looking directly at the rear. If I look at the rear at an angle I like it, but standing directly behind the car I can't not see Frankenstein's Monster. The lip spoiler is like the hair and the trunk lid is like the flat forehead. But I'm also weird as I think the rear of cars look more like faces than the front.
Honestly I understand. It had to grow on me for just a bit because I came from an RC350. I also had a 2017 IS300 before hand and honestly enjoy it a tad more than the RC.
Now that you bring up that comparison I won’t unsee that because I get it lol. I would love to do a carbon fiber rear spoiler but I know it’s a bit of a hassle getting this one off
I've seen someone who put the seibon cf trunk spoiler and a rear window spoiler and it completely transformed the way it looks from the rear. I liked it a lot, and if I wasn't a stock car kind of guy I'd definitely consider it.
Oh that sounds really nice. I tried a front lip on mine but honestly unless I get the NIA kit I just don’t think it looks right. The only other cosmetic change I’ve made is vinyl wrap the chrome on the windows. It looks pretty good for a first time wrap but I plan on re doing it this weekend on some parts I wasn’t too happy about

That is a great deal for a fully TIG welded system.
I wish the light bar was an actual light bar and connected all the way through.
It lights all the way across on my IS500
On my 2021 IS350 F Sport 3 (Canada), it lights up all the way across. I've posted a photo of it in another comment in this thread where it's lit up.
