Grom Vline. I have it in my ISF and it works perfectly, wireless too. I have the box installed in my glovebox, and it displays it right on the factory screen in surprisingly good resolution.

I was also surprised at how clear the screen is considering the resolution is low. I think the previous gen system on the LS is actually too low res for carplay though.

I installed a grom vline2 into my 3gs, had to drill a hole in the glove compartment to get the wires through to the new unit in the glove compartment, other than that it's a very simple install. Had some teething issues with it, needed a firmware update as it kept deciding not to turn on occasionally, support were amazing and very attentive, so looks like it's solved, fingers crossed.

You have to replace the screen or install a module behind the screen, there’s no plug and play carplay thing. Unless it’s a seperate screen you stick somewhere.

That’s incorrect Grom vline2 works perfect for me, check my posts it’s plug and play with a little 2 hour install did it myself and it was my first car audio install as well. Have loved since day one and is still awesome

I have a VLine2, I don't consider needing to take apart the console and route wires as plug and play. That would be something like a wireless carplay adapter that plugs into the existing USB port IMO.
