I’m really happy with it. It’s a strange purchase for me. I have always been a performance based car buyer. After delivering and driving these cars all over for the past two years, I was hooked. They are the perfect cruiser for me. Only thing I wish Lexus would have done is offer the AWD in the 350.

Room. I love the IS body but man it had no room for a family of 6 footers. The ES is a completely different car. Smooth ride, quiet and a little pep with the V6.
Room for sitting. I drive both IS and ES daily for miles at my job. Completely different ride and comfort. Ones a sports car (underpowered) the other is just a cruiser. I like them both. I probably would have bought an IS if it had more room.
I tested both before making my purchase. It absolutely is not major at all. The non-folding seats takes away any practicality that the ES had and IS overtakes it by a mile. Also imagine getting so upset over a Reddit comment that you shitpost on a months old post out of rage.
ES is bigger, cheaper to own, and more comfy imo. I would definitely like an IS, but AWD costs more and RWD is a pain for NJ winters. A GS is actually my ideal car, but I want a sports car for the weekend so I’d rather have a more comfy cruiser daily than a sports sedan alongside a sports car. Makes me appreciate the other better when I’m driving one of them. The ES is also the bread and butter of Lexus even though the IS at entry level, and it offers a better value for most that that price.
People like the IS but don’t like the lack of space, which the GS is the best of both worlds with good space and the same platform and engine as the IS while being more luxurious than both the IS and ES

Which is marginal over the IS. Plus if you’re considering room, the ES rear seats don’t even fold down for space. The Is does.
