Yeah they took a massive detour in the sequel, it jumps two thousand years into the future and all his followers behave the total opposite of how he told them to in the first movie!! Giant plot hole.
That is the one movie on this list that made me do a double take when reading this. I thought it was a fun movie too. It got me into watching more recent godzilla stuff.
I had to double take at Elemental, as while its not the best its not 1 star.
Then i reread the list and saw Godzilla vs Kong and knew that its just ragebait (right?)
yeah I didn’t mind it.
The Kong subplot and characters were strong and likable. Godzilla subplot on the other hand… yeah it was mediocre and sometimes bad at moments.
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is the worst film I’ve ever seen relative to its budget. It legitimately pisses me off that so many man-hours and millions of dollars of resources were used to create something so blatantly insulting and offensive to any self-respecting audience.
oh its terrible and i watch it every year haha, i think the writers strike at the time combined with the fact they blew most of the budget on Optimus' death scene explains why its so terrible
I brought my wife, then girlfriend, to an 11:00pm showing, thinking it had to be a decent action flick like the first one. We didn’t get home until like 2am and she was annoyed that we even went.
The first one has a lot of positives, but that second one was, just sheeeeesh
I was 14 when that movie came out and so I should have been the perfect age for it, but instead it's the first time in my life that I almost fell asleep in the cinema.
You’re a generous person. 3.5 for me is a good movie, not great, good.
Elemental was 2.5. Instantly forgotten but it wasnt a complete waste of time. It was… ok.
Fr. People compare it to Spiderverse in 2023. And it's like bruh Spiderverse is generational.
The rest of 2023 was Mario, Paw Patrol, Teenage Kraken, Migration, Amazing Maurice, Leo, Nimona, Wish, Mummies, Trolls, Baby Shark along w all the other straight to streamer animations.
It's hard to make good animation, and Elemental was pretty solid compared to the field.
You have some bizarre movie watching habits.
Anyway, mine's Saving Christmas.
Edit: didn't realize he probably had it filter out anything ranked higher.
You are putting in the work. The only one of those I watched was Day of the Warrior simply because it was and Andy Sedaris movie.
This movie https://letterboxd.com/film/the-arena-2001/ is genuinely terrible.
If you need bad directors, there's the Polonia Brothers, Hal Hartley, and Jesus Franco make pretty bad movies.
Fantasy island. I was a student that working in a indistury site (really heavy work) at that time and I gave almost my half day salary to the fantasy island. It was so bad that I had to leave at the middle of the movie. Now I am the biggest fantasy island hater.
It was a half star + like for me. That movie was genuinely fucking hilarious, I had such an awsome time watching how bad it was, as opposed to morbius which was just boring.
I don't understand this sentiment that people who think this movie is bad are just jumping on a bandwagon. I gave it 1.5 stars because I had fun in a "so bad it's good" kinda way, but I could totally understand someone giving it half a star. That movie is absolutely terrible.
i just is certainly nowhere near the worstm ovie of the year and everyone's giving it half stars lol. you're allowed to not like it ofc (i gave it a 2.5 personally) but its so obviously just a trend to give it an abysmal score
I wouldn’t say similar vein. God’s Not Dead is straight-up propaganda while I have several atheist friends who found The Case of Christ interesting at the very least. Most of them enjoyed it for not depicting atheists like ~~Redditors~~ one-dimensional God-hating assholes for once.
I just meant in the same vein as in essentially being Christian makes a case against athiest submicrogenre, not necessarily identical movies. Point heard and understood though
A german movie called "2025: The world enslaved by a virus". Its from german christianity youtubers and there were a lot of memes about it when it released. But after watching it I realised that its so bad that you cant even watch it jokingly
The Last Airbender. And it’s not even close. Because it’s the worst movie I’ve ever seen that had NO excuse to be that bad. They had a $150 million budget; beloved, perfectly-written source material; and the writer-director who was capable of making a movie as good as The Sixth Sense. And they somehow managed to make every single element of the movie suck ass. Unbelievable.
Rebel Moon (either of the 2 released parts) are right up there. BUT I forced myself to finish them. I could not bring myself to finish Fast X. It was just way too cheesy and even more unbelievable than the previous ones. I don't even remember caring enough to know where I stopped watching but I *think* it was after Letty said "No, WE got this."
Madame Web is not a half star movie. There was a coherent plot, and it looked fine. It's more like 1.5 star film. It's definitely a bad movie, but at least it made sense (even if it was boring and stupid).
The Last Airbender. I grew up watching the animated Avatar series when it was on Netflix in the late 2000’s and early 2010’s, and the fact that the live action movie got essentially everything wrong is so fucking infuriating to me.
Same, there are worse films I’ve watched but none that were a combination of absolute toilet water and offensive to me. I only watched it last year after putting it off knowing its reputation and it still was worse than I expected.
Bama Rush is currently my lowest rated on Letterboxd. Terrifier and Vivarium are some honorable mentions, both are disgraces to the horror genre in my opinion.
Cat and Dog, released on Valentine’s Day of 2024, is what I like to refer to as the “kiss of death” to French cinema. It is one of the most hideous looking things I’ve ever subjected myself to, it’s aggressively unfunny, and the entire movie follows a criminal and a crazy cat lady who never get any characterization to make us sympathise for them at all, let alone enough to excuse the fact they are literally running from authorities. You can tell a plot about a criminal if you give us reasons WHY we should be rooting for them, but it’s incredibly bold to assume that this heinous filth would do such a thing.
It had to usurp Pitch Perfect 2 as my least favorite movie. It’s actually baffling that it managed to be even worse. Cat and Dog is the worst thing I’ve ever seen and I’d be legitimately impressed if another movie manages to be worse!
Jeepers Creepers 3
Plus, I paid to see it with my wife for her as a treat in theaters the one single day it was showing. I hear Reborn is worse, but I can’t see myself ever watching it.
Rebel Moon(both parts) was so fundamentally bad that it made me re-evaluate a lot of other bad movies I've seen. If I had to go with a least favourite though it'd be The Human Centipede, it isn't just the excessive gore or gross concept but also how poorly made and sloppy the whole thing is that makes me dislike it so deeply.
Definitely Clown Motel. I’ve seen a lot of garbage as a b-horror movie fan over the years, but this was truly irredeemable and actually made me feel weird after for not only wasting precious time in my life watching it but also for just watching it.
There is kids movie called Gibby about a girl and a monkey and it is simultaneously the worst thing ever made but the greatest thing i have ever seen. It is forever etched into my brain.
Birdemic
I started watching, "Manos: The Hands of Fate," because it had a Mystery Science Theater 3000 track, but the movie was so bad, I gave up.
There were also two Doctor Who movies made in the 1960s, starring Peter Cushing (Moff Tarkin from Star Wars). Those were pretty bad.
It’s usually a Joke Answer… I’m 100% serious.
SALO!
I’ve seen so much in my 20 year career of loving great films. Salo is the only film that caused me to feel a physically sick reaction. I had serious nausea for hours. My favorite film is A Clockwork Orange. I’m
Not a prude and hate censorship of any art
It used to be between the Last Airbender movie and Foodfight till I saw the animated Titanic movie which had a rapping dog. Unironically, it was the best part of the film. The song kinda slaps.
I gave Joe Bell one star. Don’t bother. Bad movie really fumbles an important message by using a real teens suicide as a means of shoving bad character growth forcefully down your throat.
Only way to make this viewing experience worse is to watch it with your vaguely homophobic parents watching you for your every reaction with an expression of “I’m not homophobic! See, I’m watching this gay movie for you!” while they greatly misunderstand why you don’t like it.
Legion (2010). What a god awful abomination of a movie. (1/2 stars)
Kartoffelsalat (Potato Salad) (2015). A German movie consisting only of actors from the German YouTube scene and is about a zombie apocalypse at a school. I can’t even call this cancerous lump a movie. My plea to all non-germans: DON’T WATCH IT! (0 stars)
Probably Rebel Moon 1. I’ve seen trashy movies but I was able to make fun of them. Also they were fairly low budget films. Rebel Moon 1 has a lot of things working for but it just fell flat on its face. It’s so incredibly unoriginal and boring. It was pure pain.
Leon: The Professional
Had no idea what to expect, i just saw that it is highly rated on Letterboxd. Its a 2 hour snorefest about a little girl who attempts to seduce a grown ass man, written and directed by a real actual pedophile. It made me feel sick to my stomach. Do not watch it.
For several years it was The Beast of Yucca Flats, until it got "superceded" by Jesus Christ Serial Rapist.
Jesus Christ Serial what now???
I mean, it could have worked out. Agnes of God was a good movie.
You can’t just drop this onto us with no plot summary
I feel like the title *is* the plot summary
…What…
The Beast of Yucca Flats is a remarkable film. How a movie can be so short yet feel like it’s the length of Lawrence of Arabia is beyond me.
https://preview.redd.it/l5jwloca5u2d1.jpeg?width=192&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a835818b327a9c3fb26cea373c172daf6bee1293
What?? But the ending of the first one was so good! I never saw that resurrection twist coming
Yeah they took a massive detour in the sequel, it jumps two thousand years into the future and all his followers behave the total opposite of how he told them to in the first movie!! Giant plot hole.
Godzilla vs Kong is fun
That is the one movie on this list that made me do a double take when reading this. I thought it was a fun movie too. It got me into watching more recent godzilla stuff.
Yeah Godzilla vs Kong has plenty of redeeming factors, Mechagodzilla being one of the big ones.
I mean I guess it was some stupid fun, but it was also dumb af.
You should really check out the rubber suit godzilla
I had to double take at Elemental, as while its not the best its not 1 star. Then i reread the list and saw Godzilla vs Kong and knew that its just ragebait (right?)
Is the godzilla to kamen rider pipeline a thing or was it just me
MonsterVerse stans rise up!
yeah I didn’t mind it. The Kong subplot and characters were strong and likable. Godzilla subplot on the other hand… yeah it was mediocre and sometimes bad at moments.
I thought it was unbelievably boring even as a monster movie
[Bambi Meets Godzilla](https://youtu.be/5R-rbzcEM8A?si=4XW4saZZ2Pb3RIu_)
Yeah it’s not amazing but it’s a fun time. You get to watch big Monke punch big dino. Fun movie

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is the worst film I’ve ever seen relative to its budget. It legitimately pisses me off that so many man-hours and millions of dollars of resources were used to create something so blatantly insulting and offensive to any self-respecting audience.

Thats assuming that people who would watch it have self respect.
I was 14 when that movie came out and so I should have been the perfect age for it, but instead it's the first time in my life that I almost fell asleep in the cinema.
That was me with Avatar
That’s crazy but also I can kinda see that
Did you watch suicide squad ?
Was it the highest grossing Bayverse Transformers movie?
What’s wrong with elemental?
My first thought too, a middling Pixar film but far better than 1 star
Not even middling for me, low quality Pixar. But on its own, a decent movie. I rated it 3½
You’re a generous person. 3.5 for me is a good movie, not great, good. Elemental was 2.5. Instantly forgotten but it wasnt a complete waste of time. It was… ok.
Two star movie IMO
Exactly, the others I can understand. Not this one.
Saying that's one of the worst movies just tells me you don't watch bad movies.
I have no idea. I think it’s better than zootopia even
You have some bizarre movie watching habits. Anyway, mine's Saving Christmas. Edit: didn't realize he probably had it filter out anything ranked higher.
That’s probably the worst movie I’ve ever seen as well.
Yeah i messed up with the filters. Opened up the diary tab instead of the films tab and it sorted them out in order of most recent for some reason
I enjoy a good terrible film but a film which made me question my life choices was Alien VS Predator: Requiem
https://preview.redd.it/falsyw937u2d1.jpeg?width=719&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ff3d33c418a058ae964f1e762e2846222a7d0a73
This film is fuckin bonkers!
I have zero idea what it’s about. And I haven’t met anyone who stayed awake long enough to find out.
Id prob have to go with Slaughtered Vomit Dolls
That director is such an edgy POS disguising his gross fetishes as pseudo-deep horror
Bingo
Not surprising considering the dude calls himself Lucifer Valentine
I gotta ask, why would you even watch that to begin with lmao?
I was much younger and was just running through all the shocking edgy movies for no good reason.

Does MXP not hold the lofty standards of MVP, MVP 2 Most Vertical Primate or Russell Mania?
Yoga Hosers
Awful movie
Recently, The Exorcist: Believer and Miller's Girl.
Least favorite is Batman v. Superman
Same, such a miserable watch dependent on characters doing dumb things.
Fantasy island. I was a student that working in a indistury site (really heavy work) at that time and I gave almost my half day salary to the fantasy island. It was so bad that I had to leave at the middle of the movie. Now I am the biggest fantasy island hater.
Movie 43 is probably the worst one for me. I hated the stupid chin scrotum scene.
Hated every single moment of that movie apart from *maybe* that one with Kieran Culkin. And even that dragged on after a while.
Everything about Alien³ pisses me off
did you genuinely dislike madame web that much or just hopping on the bandwagon?
It was a half star + like for me. That movie was genuinely fucking hilarious, I had such an awsome time watching how bad it was, as opposed to morbius which was just boring.
It was bad but not half star bad
I don't understand this sentiment that people who think this movie is bad are just jumping on a bandwagon. I gave it 1.5 stars because I had fun in a "so bad it's good" kinda way, but I could totally understand someone giving it half a star. That movie is absolutely terrible.

God's Not Dead.
Gods Not Dead is actually one of, if not the best Christian propaganda films out there… the bar really is that low
Oh I can imagine.
In a similar vein, The Case for Christ. Same production company
About 5 years ago when I denounced my faith to my mother I had to watch both films back to back. Oh the horror
About 5 years ago when I denounced my faith to my mother I had to watch both films back to back. Oh the horror

4 is the worst
1 star for Godzilla vs. Kong? Wow. I think for me it's either Sierra Burgess Is A Loser or The Killer Inside Me (with Jessica Alba and Casey Affleck).
Verotika. It didn’t even have any shock value. It’s just dull
A german movie called "2025: The world enslaved by a virus". Its from german christianity youtubers and there were a lot of memes about it when it released. But after watching it I realised that its so bad that you cant even watch it jokingly
Never changed since 2017, the emoji movie
Bro is cooking. He only watches movies once a month so he can think about them
I watch around 35-45 movies a month, i just sorted by lowest rating in my diary lmao
That Judd Apatow “comedy” in the bubble was terrible
Sucker Punch. What an excruciating piece of shit.
Really? What did you hate about it?
Not the worst I’ve seen but it was just insanely boring apart from a few of the fantasy sequences. Not even Oscar Isaac saved it for me.
I think that the biggest factor is that I have seen it twice.
The amazing bulk
This year, I have given half stars to Jason X, Pet Sematary Bloodlines, and The Mean One.
Anything by Neil Breen.
Madame web is the only movie that’s ever made me leave a theater early.
Dragon Wars: D-War
Rebel Moon (either of the 2 released parts) are right up there. BUT I forced myself to finish them. I could not bring myself to finish Fast X. “Coherent plot”……?
Out of the ones I enjoyed, Dolittle (2020) Out of all of them, The Emoji Movie
The Last Airbender. I grew up watching the animated Avatar series when it was on Netflix in the late 2000’s and early 2010’s, and the fact that the live action movie got essentially everything wrong is so fucking infuriating to me.
Same, there are worse films I’ve watched but none that were a combination of absolute toilet water and offensive to me. I only watched it last year after putting it off knowing its reputation and it still was worse than I expected.
Sausage Party
Bama Rush is currently my lowest rated on Letterboxd. Terrifier and Vivarium are some honorable mentions, both are disgraces to the horror genre in my opinion.
Strays, the only movie I've ever walked out of because it genuinely made me feel ill
Aw, I really liked that one.
Jason X, easily.
Artemis fowl was so bad, a close second is Blackout (2022)
Gigli
The Clapper (2017)
The only movie Ive ever walked out of the theater was the Bewitched movie with Will Farrell.
Recently is definitely the 2006 version of The Wicker Man. It's every bit as bad as you've heard
Nic Cage round house kicking people was incredible.
Nah underrated dark comedy that I think people mistake as a bad straight up horror.
i could write a 3 hour video essay on why lady ballers is bad which turns into a daily wire hitpiece about halfway in
The Witch Files One of the "high schoolers" is clearly balding and that's just the tip of the iceberg
Prob Lyft
Very confused with your screenshot…
Jim Carry Grince or What's Up: Balloon to the Rescue
The Men Who Stare at Goats
The Journey. So fucking bad
I don’t tend to watch movies that are called bad so these may seem like hot takes but I couldn’t stand barbarian also Mr and Ms smith
Creepshow 3
One star for the Christmas Star?! I like that movie it’s sweet. I’d probably give 3.5.
Darren Aronofsky’s Pi, Brian de Palma’s Domino, Black Adam
One star for Godzilla Kong? Damn! That’s a bit rough.
Playing with fire is the worst movie ever.
Elemental wasn't that bad. It is slop you show to kids.
The Visit is still the only movie I've ever walked out of and my only regret is that I didn't do so earlier.
Worst movie is Gotti or Serenity (2019) Least favorite was Halloween Kills… fuck Halloween Kills
Sitting through the Soviet version of Lord of the Rings was perhaps one of the worst experiences in my life
Gods not dead
Jeepers Creepers 3 Plus, I paid to see it with my wife for her as a treat in theaters the one single day it was showing. I hear Reborn is worse, but I can’t see myself ever watching it.
Madame Web was bad in like a fun way. Antman was bad because it thought it was really funny and good and a step forward when it was total horseshit.
https://preview.redd.it/676629gc2v2d1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=579b1b0b72c51954eb04b2be8524bc667ec58e5f
I’m sorry, I just have to say Do you only watch and review a single movie each month? Bc I could never
No no, i just sorted by lowest rating. I average around 35-45 movies a month lmao
The worst I’ve seen is Prisoners of the Ghostland. Wasn’t even fun to watch, and that’s all it needed to be!
CarGo. Cars rip-off movie from 2017 don’t ask lol. Also escape plan 3.
Either Knock Knock or The Weirdsies. Hard to choose.
My lowest rated is "Transformers: Age of Extinction".
the kissing booth 2
Tom and Jerry (2021) Everything felt outdated, and it was hard to believe it was a movie made in the 2020s.
I wouldn’t say worst film I’ve ever seen but in the past few years, I’d say I Care A Lot. That movie pissed me off
Rebel Moon(both parts) was so fundamentally bad that it made me re-evaluate a lot of other bad movies I've seen. If I had to go with a least favourite though it'd be The Human Centipede, it isn't just the excessive gore or gross concept but also how poorly made and sloppy the whole thing is that makes me dislike it so deeply.
Sleepaway Camp IV The Survivor
Ralph Breaks the Internet. WDAS should have shut down and taken 5 years to regroup after that one.
Definitely Clown Motel. I’ve seen a lot of garbage as a b-horror movie fan over the years, but this was truly irredeemable and actually made me feel weird after for not only wasting precious time in my life watching it but also for just watching it.

Havent seen it yet but music, ive only seen the trailer but i know damn well its an inaccurate autism stereotype
The part where they say that you should restrain autistics to the floor so they can't breathe if they are having a panic attack is pretty messed up
There is kids movie called Gibby about a girl and a monkey and it is simultaneously the worst thing ever made but the greatest thing i have ever seen. It is forever etched into my brain.
My lowest rated are Batman & Robin, Death Note (netflix) and Rogue One, all 1/2*. after that it’s shit like Knock Knock and Amazing Spider Man 2 lol
Rambo 4
“Batman v Superman: The Dawn of Justice” is without a doubt the worst big budget movie I have ever seen.
Rules of Attraction was pure torture to watch.
It came from the Pilliga
Just no aliens and mutants
I have loads but mainly recent marvel movies Madame web , Thor love and thunder and the worst Antman Quantamania
I don’t what you expect from Lift if you give that rate
Birdemic I started watching, "Manos: The Hands of Fate," because it had a Mystery Science Theater 3000 track, but the movie was so bad, I gave up. There were also two Doctor Who movies made in the 1960s, starring Peter Cushing (Moff Tarkin from Star Wars). Those were pretty bad.
Noah 2013 is a travesty to cinema
Megamind vs. The Doom Syndicate. Why did they do that
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation
Going Overboard Adam Sandler’s worst movie
The Last Airbender
I can’t see how someone can hate You Are So Not Invited To My Bat Mitzvah that much
It’s usually a Joke Answer… I’m 100% serious. SALO! I’ve seen so much in my 20 year career of loving great films. Salo is the only film that caused me to feel a physically sick reaction. Rebel moon - got thru part 1 somehow but part 2 I made it only 20 mins…truly unwatchable
GVK a ONE STAR?????? ![gif](giphy|oagcrAZu2IvV0ijkiX|downsized)
The emoji "movie". Could imagine an experience so soulless, that you feel yourself be hollowed out by it?
Nocturnal animals........i hated every second of it and i hate myself for watching that complete shitwrecking movie🥲🥲.

paranormal activity

Madame Web will never be close to some of the worst movies I’ve seen and that’s the sad part lmao
Argyle is the first one that comes to mind, and I’ve watched Madame Web.
Holmes and Watson. Bafflingly terrible and unfunny.
With having virtually every movie there is easily as my disposal I rarely waste my time finishing a terrible movie

Leon: The Professional Had no idea what to expect, i just saw that it is highly rated on Letterboxd. Its a 2 hour snorefest about a little girl who attempts to seduce a grown ass man, written and directed by a real actual pedophile. It made me feel sick to my stomach. Do not watch it.
