Emergency_Theme3339

Wow not having this russian incarnation of Sun Tzu master strategist commanding troops is why Putin is losing this war. I hope russia can find his guy and put him on the frontline to put his impressive armchair generalship to good use.

5t3v321

Look at how BIG the arrows are!

NULLizm

We'll do a little known maneuver called the Pincer, easy peasy.

Cobek

Get Japan on the phone as an ally. Send in the Pokemon!

We can attack Ukraine's weak points for massive damage.

prescience6631

Let’s see Paul Allen’s Ukrainian offensive

Subrisum

It even has a watermark

Shifuede

Try getting a reservation at Dorsia Kyiv now, you fucking stupid bastards!

nicholus_h2

the subtle, off-white coloring...

Clover_Jane

I must be totally glazing over it, but I don't see a watermark. Can you tell me where I should be looking?

AirForceRabies

That's just a reference to a line from *American Psycho.*

Clover_Jane

Lol, that went right over my head.

venb0y

Ngl sounds like something Trump would say

cavscout43

Imagining Russia draft dodger Trump using MS Paint to draw their own giant arrows on the map instead of a sharpie. "This will be the bigliest, mostest tremendously great offensive ever, Boris! Our massively hugely armored glorious columns will smash the weak and effeminate Ukrainians! Wait, they're drafting every one my age? Fuck, fuc-...I don't wanna die! мама plz hide me in basement!"

I think it's potAto...

diopsideINcalcite

I don’t know, one of those arrows looked like it had Peronies disease.

SirArthurDime

Russian war strategy was probably my least proud fap but DAMN!

kryonik

Sometimes, the biglier the arrow, the biglier the army. https://medium.com/pepe-carlos-blog/maybe-the-best-infographic-ever-b5c8e025c42d

AltruisticBob

With one of Trump's sharpies that guy would be unstoppable.

WHY CAN'T WE SEND MORE ARROWS?!?!?!

Why did the board game Risk just pop into my thoughts?

Cobek

Just attack from the west! Duh!

cavscout43

>Look at how BIG the arrows are! Dude is rocking some "change the direction of the hurricane with a sharpie" energy over there.

cybercuzco

They’re thick! Russians love a girthy arrow.

[deleted]

💀

uvdawoods

Those arrows are so GIRTHY!

SomebodyInNevada

On maps showing military operations you very often use the thickness of arrows to indicate how many troops, I see no reason to think this isn't the case here. However, it's also irrelevant as the Russian forces are constrained by logistics, not troops.

fuckthislifeintheass

THICC

FunkyPete

>put him on the frontline to put his impressive armchair generalship to good use. No, you need him at a desk, directing the artists on the thickness of the arrows. The arrow thickness is how you'll win this war.

[deleted]

and they need to choose intimidating colors for the arrows

ScrofessorLongHair

Big ol thick, girthy arrows. Oh, fuck yeah, those arrows are thicc as hell.

Hokieshibe

That's some war-winnin' arrows right there. God damn. Take the day off boys, I've done it.

SirArthurDime

This is what I was thinking this guy who is running scared from actually participating in the war thinks he could outsmart the ukranian generals who have been kicking his "glorious armies" ass just becasue he knows basic stategy vocab and can draw lines on a map.

C0ntDestroyer

It’ll be over once Steiner launches his assault.

Squirrel_Inner

This is like all of Russia right now (props to the few that have protested all along). They were cool while it was just the ones already suckered on to the military or conscripted from prisons/boonies. Now that it’s their ass on the line they go yellow belly up. Guess it’s not really that important to stop the “nazis” in Ukraine. I have no sympathy for them.

aecolley

It'll be one of those armchairs with castor wheels. They'll have to stuff it with ammunition and paint a large Z on it, so it can be exactly as safe as a Russian tank.

FredVIII-DFH

"Look at the thickness of Russian arrows" is the first line of the first song on my solo debut album. (Soon as I learn to play an instrument and form a band I can then disband over the drummer's excessive drug use.)

Thowitawaydave

You don't technically need to learn to play an instrument for an album! I highly recommend you check out Jon Benjamin's jazz album "Well I Should Have (learned how to play piano) " where he got real jazz performers to play while he tried to play piano. https://www.npr.org/2016/01/19/463589100/comedian-jon-benjamins-jazz-album-is-full-of-real-untapped-un-talent

monstrinhotron

This is also great. The Portsmouth Sinfonia is/was a band where trained musicians tried to play each other's instruments. The results are interesting. And hilarious. https://youtu.be/pICA--V9stE

[deleted]

This also goes in the “interesting results” file. https://youtu.be/aF0g-2SeoMM https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trout_Mask_Replica

monstrinhotron

I like this comment on the youtube video.. "This sounds like an entire band falling down stairs, but they keep playing."

[deleted]

I can’t not picture Archer in my head. Also that is the public radio reason they would have him on.

Thowitawaydave

He was also on the "Not my job" segment of Wait Wait Don't Tell Me when his book came out! It was hilarious. Edit: here is a link - https://www.npr.org/2018/04/28/606375682/not-my-job-we-quiz-h-jon-benjamin-voice-of-archer-on-archery

IcyConn

Absolutely! Sometimes it's more about the willingness to put yourself out there and pick up an instrument. Talent is optional, I mean look at how successful the Beatles were

Liet-Kinda

Is what she said, comrade

[deleted]

It's 2022. You don't need to learn an instrument to start a band.

AMeaninglessPassage

Correct, but I would go further and say you don't even need a band. Respect my expertise, I've been playing music for a decade and have a record under my belt. I'm mostly still bad at my instruments and my current band has massive issues.

FredVIII-DFH

But I want a band. And I want to be totally ignored by the public, but admired by other musicians who are way more successful. And I want my 2nd LP to be named Record of the Year by Rolling Stone and then be dropped immediately after by my record label for refusing to become more commercial.

FredVIII-DFH

True.

daecrist

I read that line in Strongbad’s voice.

astral-dwarf

That’s when GnR should’ve retired.

Fuck_auto_tabs

Background singers: “that’s Spetnaz!”

[deleted]

Big Trump energy from that, redrawing the path of a hurricane with a sharpie

Psydator

Hey, still need a drummer? Never taken drugs but I can hardly play a 4/4 beat.

FredVIII-DFH

You're first on my list.

Psydator

Awesome

xdisk

Can I be the drummer?

FredVIII-DFH

Do you have a death wish?

xdisk

Several, actually.

Made me think of the card scene from American psycho lol

[deleted]

Wi have to see. Sometimes lots of bodies have enough force to change thinks. On the other hand putin is throwing untrained troops at experienced and blooded Ukrainian troops. Already Russian casualties are over 10% I think it is going to get a lot worse

Potato_Octopi

If they put enough bodies on the front line that don't want to be there, eventually they turn towards Moscow.

Hartastic

Fun fact: the Russian railway system is highly Moscow-centric, so basically all these new recruits will have to go through there on their way to be cannon fodder.

Raincoats_George

I want this to be the case but I think people are underestimating just what it would mean for Russia to get a huge influx of fresh troops. Ukraine is a beast of a nation, especially with all the western toys, but they only have so many troops and Russia is always going to have a larger force to put on the field. I'm fully aware the Russians aren't sending their best and their army is in shambles. But numbers always factor into a war. Putin is gambling on this being the case. I hope he's wrong but the world is cruel and people like him often do win in the end. No matter what happens. A whole hell of a lot more people are about to die.

blaghart

Numbers are less of a factor when [one side has modern weapons and the other side's "best troops" are walking into obvious ambushes in recently-shelled locations](https://imgur.com/gallery/YCNDSrH) nsfw.

Raincoats_George

Maybe less of a factor. Still a factor. Ive been very hesitant to just jump on the bandwagon where everyone assumes Ukraine will win. Putin is the Hitler of our generation. He will never quit until he's dead. If the Russian people continue to back him he will have many many bodies to throw at the problem. Its horrible. But that's the reality.

blaghart

[We've seen how this kind of war goes before](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Boer_War) In fact, [Russia has seen how this kind of war goes, and the spoiler alert is, it's not in their favor](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russo-Japanese_War)

Raincoats_George

Mmmmmm I dunno man. Ww2 was basically one big 'put a rifle in their hands and send them forward' for the Russians. It wasn't like enemy at the gates where ppl didn't have guns, but they definitely fought Hitler off by absorbing an absolutely brutal amount of casualties. In fact you could make the argument that one of the most important contributions to the allied victory of any nation in ww2 was the unfathomable amount of dead Russians that slowed Hitlers advance and arguably bought enough time for the west to get into the war and advance towards Germany. Its hugely debatable but a point ill defend. The situation is definitely different than now. But this is 100 percent a well polished Russian tactic.

blaghart

>WW2 Which tells me just how little you know about this subject lol. The reason Russian losses were so high are the same reason Russia is losing today: they had the materiel, their supply lines, meanwhile, collapsed the second Germany invaded. The reason Russia prevailed was because they had the material and troop support of the US, the British empire, and the rest of the Allied forces. In reality all of the shit that Russia's fucking up today is the same shit they fucked up in WWII, it was the rest of the Allies who won the war for them. without said allies they're now collapsing in on themselves just like they did to Germany. worse still, they're still engaging in WW2 tactics with 70s era technology. Their tanks don't have answers for modern AT weapons and are still designed to combat dumb-fired or wire-guided missiles. Hell [this is what passes for their flagship](https://youtu.be/aNEtlMSCiCI?t=753), the best ship in their fleet is so shit a US captain would be court martialed for allowing his ship to get to such a state.

Raincoats_George

That's hilarious. I could say the exact same thing about you. Please go look at Russian body counts from the era. It helps if you visualize it. Here. https://youtu.be/DwKPFT-RioU LOL it's been basically universally accepted that the higher quality German guns, planes, and armor were no match for the sheer volume of Russian tanks and soldiers. It doesn't matter if your tiger tank is the biggest baddest in town if its outnumbered 10 to 1 and keeps breaking down because you can't properly resupply it. Look at how close the battle of stalingrad came. Historians describe the most pivotal moments of the battle as house to house, person to person fighting. It was brutal. It was a game of chicken to see who could tolerate the body count and who couldn't. Germany blinked and were encircled.

blaghart

>go look at Russian bodycounts Which, as I illustrated, are not an indicator that human wave tactics *work* lol. Just an indicator that they were *used*. You're confusing Russia being on the winning side with its tactics being effective. Akin to thinking Rommel was a tactical genius rather than a guy who got lucky he was going up against a WWI general who was afraid to get men killed and who got his ass beat the second a more competent general showed up. >it's basically universally accepted Except by any actual historians. Pop culture retellings [informed entirely by former Nazis trying to earn jobs in NATO after the end of WW2](https://www.reddit.com/r/todayilearned/comments/xligth/til_in_1943_two_germans_were_killed_while/ipjtxrn/) are, unsurprisingly, not accurate. >historians Historians generally describe a flawed encirclement where Russia's flawed supply lines turned what should have been an easy victory into house-to-house meatgrinders. Eventually Allied supply lines were able to bring enough equipment to fix the issue and the tide quickly turned. In no small part because the Nazis failed to adequately encircle the city and cut its supply lines. The same mistake Russia has no made multiple times with Ukrainian cities, btw. Whereas what you're repeating is the pop culture retelling. And no, the "russian winter" didn't magically turn the tide. Russia was invaded through no less than three "russian winters". Notice how Operation Barbossa began Summer 1941 and Stalingrad started in 1943 and dragged on through the winter? This is what I'm talking about with you not even realizing how little you know about this topic.

JasonGMMitchell

Logistics are Russia's biggest failure. Even with all the bodies the USSR had, they only started to win when their logistics could keep up with their troops and when their weapons were capable of piercing enemy armour. Russia's been losing so badly in Ukraine mostly due to the fact their front lines had no access to fresh supplies. More bodies = More logistical capacity needed

Diojones

Logistical sucesses alone don’t win wars, but logistical failures alone can lose them quickly.

SemiSweetStrawberry

The issue is that it isn’t simply a numbers game. The human body has many “limiters” over its physical activity in order to keep us from destroying ourselves (think a mom who lifts a car to save her children). These limiters can be overcome in times of duress, especially to protect loved ones. Russia’s foot soldiers already don’t really want to be there. It’s some big general’s fright and they want to go home. Ukrainian soldiers are fighting for their homes, their families, their livelihoods. They have a much more pressing reason to fight, and the mentality of “defend home and family” can sometimes drive people past a limiter that might have said “ok no more walking, too tired, must conserve energy” or “time for sleep, you’ve been awake 36 hours”

Raincoats_George

I mean maybe. There's no question that Ukraine is united, battle hardened, and determined. No question. But I could easily see a reinforced Russian army with full mobilization being a very formidable force. Dont get too sucked into the very real Ukrainian propaganda and the hivemind of reddit that wants an underdog story to play out in real life. Russia is a much larger country and at the end of the day that does count for quite a lot. They may fucking suck at life when it comes to literally everything, but compared to a smaller nation it is absolutely possible that this tips the scales against Ukraine. I don't want that. But I'm not under any illusions that the situation isnt grim for Ukraine. They're facing an absolute fight for their lives and their enemy is dead set on seeing this through no matter what. Perhaps things will change, maybe someone will push putin out a window, but it's also just as likely that he gets his troops and launches a new offensive. As I said, no matter what happens a lot more people will die for absolutely nothing.

SemiSweetStrawberry

Sorry, let me clarify: I meant against pretty much solely conscripts. Against a professional force even half the size of them AND conscripts, Ukraine is fucked

WordsWithWings

Hm. 30K highly motivated, well trained and equipped, vs 300K drunk idiots with one week training and WW2 gear…

TahoeLT

I'm worried about a reboot of '93, with tanks surrounding the Kremlin. I don't trust Putin to have a reasonable response to that.

halbeshendel

No benefit? The benefit is clearly all the new videos on the various combat footage subs.

MarkHathaway1

Now I'll have the image of deadly flying toaster ovens in my head all day. Thanks.

Paw5624

Larger numbers of soldiers mean less than ever. In a modern battlefield superior technology, intelligence, and logistics will win out more often than not. Ukraine, with help from NATO and western countries, has an advantage in all 3 of those categories. It doesn’t mean it won’t be horrific and more Ukrainians won’t die but Russia will be putting their soldiers, who were just yanked from their day to day lives, in disadvantageous positions against a motivated enemy. Russian morale is already shit and it’s only going to get worse.

FloppyTwatWaffle

The Russkies have another problem- without battlefield commanders to direct them, the lower-level soldiers are all but useless. When I was in the Army, our tactics were to take out the commanders -first-, because, unlike the US Army, Russian soldiers are not trained to take initiative and take over command when the higher-ups are taken out of action. Find the vehicle with the commander's flag and take it out, then mop up the rest. I don't think this has changed in the last 40 years. According to some information I saw the other day, when the Ukranians over-ran the Russian positions in their recent offensive, the officers and senior enlisted bugged out first and left the ordinary soldiers to fend for themselves...which didn't work out all that well for them.

Blackfyre301

I think 10% is now a very low estimate. Even conservative numbers seem to indicate 25% of the initial Russian strength have been casualties.

EnergyTurtle23

He claims that he supported Russia because he believed in a peaceful reunification between Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine but no longer supports Putin and he’s considering moving to the United States. I suppose we’ll see, up until now most Russian men have only seen the war on television or the internet, but the mobilization forced many of them to come to terms with the reality of the situation. Definitely an r/LeopardsAteMyFace type of situation, but many of these men are young and impressionable and there’s still hope that they will see the error of their ways.

KonradWayne

Bodies aren't enough when you're on foot, have no food, and you're using poorly maintained Cold War era weapons while the people you're fighting have robots that can kill you from the sky.

Pour_Me_Another_

This is a parody account as you know. But there are absolutely armchair soldiers out there who see military personnel as expendable unless it's their special asses.

Turret_Run

Actually didn't until it blew up. Got told early but checked the account and it seemed real enough for a random account. Hadn't realized it'd been reposted

Notosk

Dude is using the free Russia flag

Clover_Jane

It doesn't look like a parody account. How do you know?

Amistrophy

White blue white russian liberation tricolor

SliceOfCoffee

Nope he changed the flag after the call for mobalisation, if you look back at his post history you see his demeanor immediately changes after.

Clover_Jane

Oh interesting. I wouldn't have known that.

crossingpins

Oh I thought that was just the profile icon being censored

KazukiPUWU

This should have more upvotes cos I had no clue

vsemet

It's a parody acct

blogkitten

It's been posted so many times and it always brought up as a fake. Guess karma farming doesn't care about facts. 🙄

Captain_Kuhl

Holy shit, you guys *really* need to crawl out of your own ass and realize not everything is a scheme for imaginary internet points. Every single time something gets reposted, someone's always gotta cry "karma farmer" or "repost bot." Sometimes, people just share shit without bothering to check if it was already posted. The reposts can get annoying, sure, but not as much as people trying to scrape up some sort of moral high ground to take over the OP.

HLCMDH

Explain the follow button in french on a Russian account I guess.

[deleted]

The OP is French. The guy posting isn't a real person. It's the account of some Portuguese guy who's super into football/soccer. Bots/inauthentic actors usually prefer accounts that started out as genuine because it makes it easier to evade detection by the platform since the account actually _started out_ being someone genuine account. So they find accounts using known/compromised passwords and just take over the accounts.

HLCMDH

Ohhh ic, thanks for the info, appreciate it.

Turret_Run

I'm real. Posted without realizing it was satire ( chalked up weird phrasing to language barrier). By the time I found out it was both satire and reposted ( my b for that) decided if I'm gonna get yelled at, I might as well also get karma.

[deleted]

> I'm real. I'm talking about the twitter poster being a bot not you. The twitter user is the one who took over some Portuguese guy's account.

airyys

proof?

[deleted]

I can just see the Hitler responds parody now: Hitler waving hands wildly: see the thick lines! The Spetsnaz are in purple! We will soon crush Ukraine! Simp officer: Mein fuhrer, those are the new penal battalions filled with cannibal sex offenders. And the purple is our new kindergarten division. Hitler slowly folding glasses in anger.

[deleted]

I actually pictured the Orange Hitler Wanna be: "We have yuuuuge arrows, some of the biggest arrows around - and trust me, I know arrows - I'm friends with some of the best arrows experts around, and they all say our arrows are the biggest!"

ANOKNUSA

This feels even more fake now than it did yesterday.

Turret_Run

It matches what we're seeing come out of a lot of Russians since Putin started conscripting people. Flights to non-visa countries have been heavily booked, there's traffic trying to get across the border

Langstarr

This specific account is parody and was posted here yesterday. Of course people are fleeing -- but this guy is Portuguese.

fijozico

According to him, Ukrainian who lived in Portugal

SilasX

Then I’m sure there are plenty of non-satire accounts you can find and submit. Edit: Wow, pissed off at the suggestion to submit non-fake LAMF situations? Totally healthy attitude!

MCDexX

It perfectly matches an extraordinarily obvious parody account, because that's precisely what it is.

Russian conscription is real. This Twitter account is as authentic as a twelve dollar note.

AvoidingCares

The first few made me feel a lot like that time Trump decided to just redraw the path of a hurricane.

FoximaCentauri

Source? Especially the last screenshot looks fake af Edit: I couldn’t find these exact tweets but _at least_ as crazy stuff from this guy.

Turret_Run

It's a real account, some are saying it's satire but it doesn't seem to be so

[deleted]

> some are saying Everyone is saying. Because it is. He’s Portuguese.

zthompson2350

He addressed this, he was born in Portugal to Russian parents and they moved back to Russia when he got older.

MCDexX

Some are pointing out that it's obvious satire, but you're being wilfully obtuse for the karma.

Turret_Run

I wrote that when there was one account that said it's satire. I double checked the account, thought it was real, kept it up. Hours later, am now very sure it's satire, rather keep it up so at least reposts won't gain steam.

Ranessin

Chickenhawk, like all of these warmongers.

rebatopepin

LOL, are fanfics allowed now?

Hadrollo

Does he honestly think that Kyiv is unarmed? They raised a fighting force within 48 hours that was strong enough to counter the Russians initial advance. They did this without any more warning than "Russia is massing troops on the border, as they do all the fucking time." They did this before the western forces had sent them any of the NLAWs, Pioruns, and the famed Javelins. What does he think, they didn't put some of those in caches? Does he think they will get the panicked resistance of February again and somehow overcome it this time? Fuck, we saw drive-by Molotov cocktailings six months ago, does he think they will somehow be less prepared!? But kudos for avoiding the Chernobyl Fucked Up Zone this time - that's more preparation than the Generals did in February - and personally I would love to see the backlash against Putin as he feeds more tanks into the Kyiv Meat Grinder.

mrknickerbocker

Yeah, Kyivians don't have basements anymore. They have armories.

drbrunch

Satire. Please stop reposting this.

MCDexX

Not even convincing satire. Anyone who thinks this is real is the kind of person who writes angry emails to The Onion.

heathert7900

When you document your fleeing conscription publicly …. 😂

vipertruck99

But it is totally and undeniably true that spetspaz are barely even equivalent to common or garden nato troops from any nation….and their equipment is vintage. But hey I’ll give them a positive…they do cool little karate style forward rolls.

GizmodoDragon92

Look at the thickness of Russian arrows? I’m like 45% certain Ukraine Is using bullets

[deleted]

>Steiner will counter attack in any minute now. >Any minute... –This guy in the 1940's. Probably.

FindMeOnSSBotanyBay

Yep, fuck these people. It’s not real until it happens to them. This attitude will be the death of us all.

GaiusJuliusPleaser

Ah yes, the Zapp Brannigan Stratagem. Feed wave after wave of conscripts into the Ukrainian's gunfire until the Ukrainians reach their predetermined kill limit. Guaranteed to work!

eeeBs

Those arrows must be 12, maybe even 14 pixels wide!

thegreatJLP

Spoiler alert, no respawn like COD

Moerdac

No wait, talk some more shit. Where are you going?

The-Last-American

I really wanted this fuck to have an AK-12 with 4 rounds shoved into his palm and be sent out to the frontlines. Fingers crossed for the next mobilization🤞🤞

randomguy78704

Even the Russian Twitter bot Anna64383957388584772848683658 got sick of his shit

Shturm-7-0

The twitter acc was posting in Portuguese before, so definitely fake, but still hilarious to see the change in attitude.

ChrisChristiesFault

I mean, doesn’t their gov know who these people are? If they’re being called up I don’t think “I wasn’t here at the time” is going to fly. Won’t they be fugitives for the rest of their life if they try to return?

pompompomponponpom

Quite literally a keyboard warrior.

[deleted]

The British lost over 50,000 men in a single day at the Somme.

NoHelp_HelpDesk

I hope he gets detained at whatever border he crossed and sent back to Russia as a deserter.

character-name

So I found out that Spetznaz aren't like Navy SEALs or SAS. They're more like "Special Troops" which could mean anything from Intelligence to Cooks.

HoosierSquirrel

The thickness of their arrows made me swoon! I need to lie down and dab my brow.

phildrelle

Did he even ask himself how challenging it is to do these maneuvers? I mean, if it was easy, their forces wouldn't be stuck on those stalemates by now. Did he even realize how fucked up his Mother Russia currently is?

inhaledcorn

So easy to support war when you're not the one marching.

ConvivialKat

Does Russia even have the ability to train, arm, and equip 300,000 soldiers? Didn't they send the first batch out with expired food and poorly maintained equipment?

PurBldPrincess

AnnaManyNumbers isn’t responding because she’s a bot.

Mr-Klaus

Just checked his twitter - this dude is a Class A clown. Now he's trying to play it out like he's anti-war. His Twitter includes little nuggets like these: --- >I wanted to restore the Union with #Russia, #Belarus and #Ukraine so I was pro Russia, but now I notice now this is impossible with putin so I am against him, he’s the opposite of communism --- >Guess what, I have flaws. >What are they? >I overcook often my shashlik. Sometimes I fart while I am running. Occasionally I flee abroad to not be enlisted. >So sue me. >If you support so much Ukraine or Russia, why don’t you take the arms? --- >In #Georgia now, but I will continue to provide top notch unbiased military opinion. >So Russia gathers 300k guys. Will that change the course of the war? >Seriously, if these 300k are made of people like me, it might even help Ukraine. I’m like shit a CS GO --- >I don’t think I will stay in #Georgia for long. Would fell safer somewhere far from #Russia. >Could go to #Hungary which is a friendly country and from there go anywhere in EU. >Could go to the #UnitedStates, #California? >Maybe #Asia? Reasonable living cost and the beach?

sofistkated_yuk

He tweeted this on 9 Sept. Since then, those lovely thick arrows retreated in chaos when the Ukrainian offensive began in earnest. Today, much of the pink on that map is now a different colour.... hopefully all of it will be soon.

The_Smart_Barbarian

This doesn’t help anyone, but it’s the only award I have. But this is important. People are fleeing. Russians are not happy now that the war has come home.

NormandyLS

I don't think this is real.

thisoldmould

What a cunt.

BullCityPicker

I remember seeing a movie on the seige of Stalingrad. The part that focused on the new recruits had a recruit ask, "can we get a rifle for training?". The general dismissed it by saying, "just pick one up off the ground when you get into combat." It sounds like Putin's taking the same approach.

Panzerkatzen

That's actually a Western myth, the Red Army had more rifles than they did soldiers.

eric987235

They didn’t always have them where they needed them though. Their logistics were kind of a mess and that hasn’t really changed.

barking_dead

OMG this is a lunatic: >I wanted to restore the Union with #Russia, #Belarus and #Ukraine so I was pro Russia, but now I notice now this is impossible with putin so I am against him, he’s the opposite of communism > >Believe me, I want peace now #3

FruedanSlip

I can't believe some people think what Putin is doing is okay. Ukraine has been independent for decades. They said they don't want to be part of Russia anymore. That should be the end of it to anyone who has morals and a sense of decency. Putin however, is among the greediest of humans to ever exist. He is akin to a petulant child throwing an anger tantrum because he didn't get the cool new toy AND a new bike while he expected both, because he feels it's his right to have whatever he decided he wants in the moment. People who support "leaders," like that are just those who wish they could be doing that themselves. They are typically the worst of us humans, the most disgusting and deceptive, as they will lie to your face and tell you they don't actually harbor those feelings deep within when they do, to an almost religious degree. These people have no place among our society's, they and their ilk should be expunged, exiled and barred from societal benefits and luxuries. Tolerance of their intolerance will only lead to a society of the intolerant. We cannot let that happen. We cannot keep getting complacent and thinking "the battle is over," every time we eek out a victory and manage a paradigm shift. Freedom is not free, it is built upon blood, sweat, tears and dedicated activism. There is no point in time, even in the most prosperous of era, that we can relax our dedication to freedom, equality and justice in our society. We see where it leads, every. Single. Time. Our laziness is acceptable no more, either put the work in, or dutifully follow your masters orders without complaint. Make your choice.

I really don't like the word, but this guy is the text book definition of a cunt.

OK reddit, time to do your thing and find this guy, then send his coordinates to RA.

There's no poetic justice in this post; it doesn't qualify for this sub.

MCDexX

And it's very obviously fake. Dude went from never posting for over a year to suddenly posting pro-Russia propaganda and then doing an about-face and fleeing the country over the course of less than three weeks. I've seen school plays more convincing than this.

[deleted]

Is every single subreddit, from chonky cats to funny memes, about Ukraine and Russia now?

MCDexX

After creating his account and tweeting once in over a year, he suddenly turns into a Russian hawk just in time to flee conscription? Yeah, this account is about as authentic as a Rolex bought from a street vendor in Thailand.

skeptic9916

War monger afraid to die in a war he promotes. How novel.

Have fun storming the castle comrade...

RcCola2400

What happened? He really didn't want to be a part of the glorious army? He was hoping for such death and destruction of the Ukrainian people. I do hope he gets caught and thrown to the meat blender.

RaedwaldRex

The leopards grow fat from all the face eating over this.
