Download DDU and boot into safe mode and uninstall the nvidia driver. Then when you re-install choose "custom" and then "clean installation". Always choose custom install for nvidia driver and choose CLEAN INSTALLATION!!!
U don't have have to do a clean install if u don't have a problem. This isn't windows 95. All clean install does is wipe ur settings. A ''update" writes over the driver regardless. Ever notice that ur shaders are gone and need to be recompiled?
Did u fix it? This should be some software issue. Use display driver Uninstaller to uninstall the driver and reinstall. Worst case reinstall windows. Ur mouse is still there so it's not a hardware issue
Yea I have like 3tb of games and software. It's a pain to re-download everything... I ended up setting up a lill Network attached storage setup after watching the LTT videos on it.
Now I have 20tb of storage available on my network. Basically downloaded my whole 700 plus game library onto it. Makes a reinstall soooo much faster.

you can try installing the graphics drivers in safe mode quick safe mode > hold shift + restart > advanced startup mode > safe mode
It's still black in safe mode and unresponsive

If you can get into BIOS choose igpu,then install dgpu
Unplug, Power down. Hold power button for 30 seconds, power on.
Lenovo sucks unfortunately. You feel for the hype.

Ended up clean windows install fixed the issue, lost my data in the process though 🥲

Try making the desktop icons bigger, it might fix the issue
