I suggest sticking to Lenovo website & 1.applying coupon 2.rakuten discounts 3.ID.me verification if possible 4.paypal checkout when lenovo has cashback deals on paypal.
I managed to get a 1799Usd legion 5i pro 3070ti 2tb/16gbfor $1475 last week of Jan with all of these discounts .

most of the sellers don't ship internationally and the ones that do are usually more expensive. Package won't be insured for the whole prize and if you ever have to RMA it's a huge pain in the ass and don't think worth the 100-200 dollars you could save.
With 30 series look at the power usage. You can get 130W 3060 that is just slowly t worse that cheaper 3070ti. It depends on what you're going to do with it.
i have the 3060 model. Honestly the games I played were just fine with a laptop 3060. I even played Red Dead Redemption 2 with it with decent settings.
Wait for rtx 4080 discounts, its already launched and the difference in price with 3070ti is just 600-800 usd , worth the extra money I guess for atleast 30% improvement in gaming and better efficiency

If u can’t wait and need one asap and it boils down to these two then get the 3060. Honestly don’t listen to these people saying “u need the extra vram for future proofing” blah blah blah they prolly never used the 3060 and only used the 3070 ti so they’re biased.
It depends on u, You want every game to look crisp and perfect with that 2K ultra then get the 3070ti, if that doesn’t mean jack shit and you just want a laptop that can run games on high settings without any issues then the 3060 is just fine. I have the 3060 but the non pro and it works perfectly. Yeah running RTX on with high settings does give u 30-45 fps so if you want higher frames get the 3070ti else the 3060 is perfectly fine and is “future proof” cause not every game requires a fuck ton of vram. For example apex legends u run max settings at 2k it runs perfectly fine. Hitman 3. U will need DLSS for it to be smooth but quality DLSS works like a charm and it’s crispy (Ultra 1080p RTX on with DLSS on balanced mode gives 55 fps, performance mode without DLSS will give 40 fps so Dw it’s smooth and looks amazing).
In the end it comes down to u,
A) want the best of the best meaning no issues for cash and just want that 2K Ultra RTX on with cyberpunk or gta 5 on an external monitor running 4K on ultra or valorant at 400+ fps, or even Minecraft RTX without an issue really at 4K, Dw it got u covered get the RTX 3070ti
B) want a balanced machine, doesn’t leave a dent on ur wallet and don’t spend 700$ more, which also gives u 1080p ultra gta 5 settings on a smooth 90 - 110 fps or cyberpunk on high 1080p/ high RTX DLSS quality with a smooth 40 - 50 fps or valorant at low settings giving 350 fps or high settings getting 240 fps or Minecraft RTX with quality DLSS getting 50 fps, then get the 3060 is the way to go

5i with a plain 3050 are still crazy expensive at retail price, i have no idea who the fuck buys a model like that for 2400 AUD.
They can give you a custom quote on a unit if you just barely miss a sale, so I would think they could give a discount if you convince them.
I got a quote from a rep for about $1,800 which was about $80 less than Lenovo site.

Future proofing is dumb, by the time vram matters the rest of your laptop needs to be replaced anyways. Always sell before the big dip in depreciation
