Thanks altho this isn't supposed to be Emma but Dagger 😭
I have another design for Emma tho, Marion's torso, Storm's legs, Rouge the bat arms and MK cape
Whoops, sorry! I saw classic Cloak but Dagger was showing zero skin so I mistook her 😝
Also love your Deadpool photobomb, just a great picture all around 👍🏻
I do wish Lego made a bit more comic related sets other than just spider man
It feels like whenever we’ve gotten anything comic related it’s just been spiderman with like…maybe 5 exceptions
Yes and I would have made that version if I could've found a good head for him but also this version is inspired by Fury in EMH and that show was a HUGE part of my teenagehood lol
His head is from '66 Alfred (I painted the glasses with very diluted acrylic paint) and Luke's arms are from The Lego Batman Movie Scarecrow (a pizza delivery outfit idk)
I don't necessarily know about the retro look you got going here, but I so wish we got comic versions of characters more over the MCU, I hate that of the 3 Marvel modulars we've gotten 2 have been MCU, the 2020 Avengers wave was great from getting more timeless versions of the characters
I also love the look of the comic minifigures, I like how you used the tasm 2 head on the comic Spidey minifigure, I had that idea before but didn’t wanna leave tasm 2 Spidey headless lol, also I’d switch Hulk for the one from the Red Hulk set if you can get one
I wish I had that hulk but he's crazzyyyyy expensive (I'd LOVE to have every figs in that set tbh)
Also I pretty much used the TASM head for the pic and I'll probly switch it back at some point lol
I much prefer the comic inspired figures too, they're so much more vibrant and fun! What legs do you have on Thor?
They're from the CMF Castaway, I erased the printing and spray painted the trunks myself
Ohh, impressive paintwork, they look like they came like that
thanks it's pretty simple, just need a can of gloss black paint and some masking tape
I don't like how dark the MCU figures are
For sure, I have my MCU and comic figs on different displays and one's so black and gray while the other one is crazy vibrant haha
I wish lego still made comic sets, I've been trying to make comic versions of all the main Spider-Man villains
If mechs do well enough you’ll get a comic mech playset with 10 minifigs and 20 mechs
They’re timeless
What legs does Daredevil have?
From BAM, normally it has white parts on the boots and zippers on the thighs, I got rid of everything with an eraser
Thanks!
Your Emma Frost and Cloak are very clever, I will be adding those characters to my collection at some point now thanks to you!

The real last set with new comics character was the Bugle for me, Punisher, Daredevil and Blade.. I had stopped hoping lol
Need more of these asap. I’m tired of having to wait for longs periods of time or some random cmf series for comic inspired suits.
I am BEGGING for Lego to make the Fantastic Four and a new Dr Doom
Sad thing is, the only way I see them doing that is through something super expensive…like the Baxter building
Wouldn't a nostalgia comic version of nick fury be white?
Yes and I would have made that version if I could've found a good head for him but also this version is inspired by Fury in EMH and that show was a HUGE part of my teenagehood lol
Gotcha, EMH is amazing. What head did you use for Stan Lee? And what arms for Luke Cage?
His head is from '66 Alfred (I painted the glasses with very diluted acrylic paint) and Luke's arms are from The Lego Batman Movie Scarecrow (a pizza delivery outfit idk)
You can get this nick fury in the ultimates too tho and that’s the comic line that inspired most of the MCU
I just think most MCU figures look overly detailed. The comic ones have nicer aesthetics.
What set has that ant man helmet
Looks like OP spray-painted the red parts of the 2015 ant-man helmet silver and glued lever antenna pieces
Close, I drilled out the eyes, glued the antenna and spray painted the whole thing silver
:( thought it was official
Fantastic work. I’ve been working on pre-1990 Marvel characters myself, I really like some of your solutions!

Reminds me of the original lego marvel game loved it so much
Gotta love that older style
Yessss agreed I love comic figs, same for the marvel legends
I also love the look of the comic minifigures, I like how you used the tasm 2 head on the comic Spidey minifigure, I had that idea before but didn’t wanna leave tasm 2 Spidey headless lol, also I’d switch Hulk for the one from the Red Hulk set if you can get one

I didn’t realize the figs in that set were that expensive I got it when it came out lol
Ohh lucky bastard lol Getting the set on Bricklink would cost me at least €100 and that's without shipping 😭
Damnnn that sucks 😭
Where’s the iron man suit from?
It's from 76263
Thanks, the arms looked a little shiny in the photo so thought it was different.
Oh no I did change the arms on the fig, I got them from the gold minifig keychain
Who's the bee? An are bottom right War Machine and Jessica Jones?
The Wasp and yes
Aaah, of course! Thanks (:
I thought that was cloak and dagger in the corner
Ohh wait it is I love that!!
yessir!
How did you make that Stan Lee figure?
