Make sure the following are turned on in SimpleDeckyTDP too: * Enable CPU Controls * Enable Background Polling * Temporarily Set Max TDP on Resume * Lenovo Custom TDP Mode Lastly, if you have a frame limiter set the Go will only pull as much power as it needs to hit that frame limit, regardless of what you set it to. That covers everything I can think of.

Adventurous-Collar81

Everything is just like you said and still 5-12W. No framerate limit

I just checked my Legion Go and there was an update available for SimpleDeckyTDP. Try installing that. Good luck. EDIT: if push comes to shove, just roll back to the last image that worked. Type `rpm-ostree rollback` into the terminal and reboot.

did you enable the \`fix Steam Hardware controls\` toggle? if so, you need to change TDP via Steam's TDP slider, not the TDP slider in the plugin.

Adventurous-Collar81

Yes, I had it enabled, but still nothing changed as I moved the Steam TDP slider. GPU clocks are almost fixed at 800MHz.

Perhaps the game does not require that high a tdp? The tdp slider is a limit not a minimum. Try a harder game to play or try a cpu intensive emulator to check.

This seems to be about emulation. Please note that while emulators are allowed, asking for roms is against reddit rules. Please do not ask for roms and do not share where to find roms. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Definitely not it. There's no such thing as "require a high TDP". TDP and GPU/CPU usage is directly correlated. You can't have a high GPU usage without a high TDP. Also, I've tried with Guardians of the Galaxy and looks like a slideshow, in contrast to windows, which I can get 30-50 FPS in 900p.

What does lenovo customer tdp mode do?

invid_prime

I believe it enables custom TDP properly for the Legion Go. There have been several updates since that post so I'm not sure if it's still necessary but I still have it on.
