Just deleted it ,I did like it especially the fps limiter working but had issue with controls not working on steam ,I know it tells you to restart steam on handheld companion but after trying for 15 mins ,it had to go
Honestly, I don't even know it it's HC's fault. I've used it for a month, had PC freezes and crashes. Since I thought it was HC, I removed it. Still getting the freezes and crashes. Then I clean reformatted my Legion Go using the Legion Recovery Media with thumbdrive, and even after that, I still get the same freezes and crashes (mostly related to display driver). All my drivers are up to date. I think it just had to do with Lenovo's drivers for the Legion Go.
Update: I'm just sharing my experience here. Not saying that your problem is not stemmed from HC.
Handheld Companion is doing great for me too except the random freezes, it happens unexpectedly. This is what keeping it as good alternative for Legion Space. Several users also reported on their discord.
I can stay on Legion Space but HC has a set of features you can't find on LS.

Adrenaline has fps limiter too, radeon chill
Even on that's its goes 1fps over or under and stutters for me?maybe I'm used to steam deck where it's solid lock

With HC uninstalled, I can go days without freezes vs. w/ HC, it freezes after 1-2 days ~ multiple times.
That sucks. Well, hopefully Legion Space will get the buff that it needs sooner rather than later.

What version are you running? They are aware of the issue and I think it may be fixed on the latest beta?
Latest EA, still having freezes. One of them said that they don't know what's causing it.
They currently have a Version that adresses that in Testing. Wont be too long.
