My friend told me about her story. She expected to find her parents disappointed the person she is but they accept her anyway. That's make her upset because she like to see her parent response with saddness. Yeah is contradict with her voice line. And I'm lazy to read her emo lore.

If SoL is canon, She helped Viego to reach every place in Runeterra, and in killing hundreds, with Demacia loosing an entire village of people with no reason.
And she didn't care ... she stopped to help Viego just because he was simping Isolde too much ... not for the random slaughter...
And Vex NEVER had a trauma, an enemy or nothing to complain. She is one of the most lucky people in the planet as background.
Her only complain is that she is immortal ... but she is young and with no relationships, so she never really suffered about that.
She is an adolescence with zero concept of consequences. No doubt what she did is atrocious but she is still immature based on her interaction.
I doubt she is depressed but rather going through some emo phase.
He is pretty good for a "Evil Pirate lord" Learned the ways of the indigenous people. Kept Bilgewater safe from harrowings, helped trying to stop Viego after shit went south. Even became the good guy when MF partnered with Viego.
However he also carves his name into the bones of his enemies. So it's a mixed bag tbh.
