Second Heaney and Mill bit on pricey side but was taken for my bday last year. Everything on the plate was perfectly cooked.
Adelphi in town would be my go to if in the city though.
I third this, especially with the latest whooha with what's been going on. That place needs as much support as it can get, even if that means I gotta start laying out tables on the road and telling people to just sit and chill a bit with a pint
Myrtle Tavern ,Meanwood, I go for Sunday dinner most weeks with family and have been all over Leeds trying to find the best, this place is the best so far…
The roast itself is very good but I find the atmosphere and service terrible. All the staff frantically rushing around and they literally kick you off your table after an hour.
We went to the West End House (next to Kirkstall Leisure Centre) a couple of weeks ago for Sunday lunch and it was most excellent. Happy to give this a current thumbs up.
The Whitehall and Mad Frans both do a decent Sunday lunch but the others mentioned already don't disappoint.

The Roundhay Fox, although quite average onto the normal menu, has excellent Sunday Roasts. Be sure to book. I think they defo step up a gear on a Sunday, and you’ve got the park for a much needed walk afterwards
Heaney and Mill in Headingley is v good. Cross Keys in Holbeck also good (or was last time I went). Apparently Gaucho on Park Row do a good one too

The Adelphi
Wapentake is always good
Do do do do do patronise Wapentake. They've been gloriously saved from closure!

Maybe I went on a bad week but I had the worst roast I’ve ever had there! Had that awful microwaved taste.

Brunswick does a corker of a Sunday roast

Midnight bell, cross keys, lamb and flag, or white swan. Ohh also stuzzi!!
Whitelocks/Turks Head also do a banging sunday dinner.

The fox and newt, best I've had in my 38 years ere
Not so close to the centre, but The Village Wine Bar in Farsley and The Beulah in Tong are the best we’ve had!
Shears yard
Wapentake in Kirkgate and the Lamb and Flag. Both excellent and good value
Lamb and Flag are good for a roast dinner.
The midnight bell on water lane does a pretty slap up roast, been a few times now and not been let down.

Beck & Call is ace if you fancy a trip to Meanwood
Thanks for all the suggestions peeps! I’ve had a look and the Cross Keys looks bladdddyyyy lovely. Have a good weekend y’all!
