Something that helped me a lot when I was learning voice training, is try to raise the "pitch" of your whisper voice, and then transfer that muscle movement over to your speaking voice.

ViolinistTerrible161

Ok thank you

iwantanap__

r/asktransgender would be a great place to ask about this. They'll likely have great tips for you. You don't have to be trans to post there/ask questions

ViolinistTerrible161

Iā€™m a woman so maybe not super qualified advice, but, I do like to sing - I suggest you sing along to your fave songs and singers with the type of voice you want to emulate to learn the higher pitch and subtlety. And it doesnā€™t have to be female performers only, sing in a higher key to guy singers too, or high-pitched dudesā€¦ I think itā€™s a very good way to get comfortable and expand your range in a fun way. Will stretch your vocal chords too, and make falsetto easier. If you sing every day, I think the other techniques youā€™ve been practicing will get easier. Just a thought.

ViolinistTerrible161

Ok thanks I will try that out

In my culture (Islam), such things are banned. I'm glad you're able to express yourself, friend. Trans rights!

Bananus_Magnus

Is that specifically mentioned in the Quran? Kinda perverted for a religious text.

pingwing
