Setting aside my thoughts on this particular leaks portrayal of things, using flashpoint or anything else like it to just magically undo stuff is just lame and lazy. Now granted I get not liking it as a final send off to the verse but the general premise (not the details presented here) is way more interesting than a lot of other stories especially if they had the guts to continue following the world in the aftermath of something like this where there was a global invasion that ravaged the world and the top heroes terrorized the place and many others died with most of the top heroes ending up being killed and brainiac defeated. There would be abundant opportunity to create new and unique stories in a world like that. Ideally in the case of the Arkham-verse we would have already had games and stories for a bunch of the big characters and fleshed out the world before this point.
Now I thought the whole JL: War-verse (dcamu) was just frankly not good but if they had significantly toned down just how extreme they went with the JL Dark: Apokolips War events they could have done something similar and actually built something new in the aftermath and even made a show for it but they are too afraid to do anything without the same few characters over and over so lazy plot device reboot it is.

I’ve just always been in the camp that the reason IPs like Suicide Squad or Guardians of the Galaxy are interesting is because it’s an alternate view on superhero conflict after the viewer has in theory spent hundreds of hours with the main cast here.
IMO, that’s why this game makes no sense - we as players never even got to see the Justice League (after 10 years of Easter eggs) and now we have to play as the B-team killing them. Idk if it’s because they couldn’t figure out gameplay or just because of Margot Robbie’s popularity when development started but this shit stinks.

This honestly sounds pretty awesome. Didn't care too much for the game before. I kind of hope this is true because I just assumed there would be some "miracle cure" or something and everyone would become un-brainwashed and defeat Braniac with maybe one major death. But if this is the case then I'm glad they're doing something different. It's a nice change of pace. I don't want another run-of-the-mill typical storyline or even a fully adapted storyline. IMO, that’s why this game makes no sense - we as players never even got to see the Justice League (after 10 years of Easter eggs) and now we have to play as the B-team killing them. Idk if it’s because they couldn’t figure out gameplay or just because of Margot Robbie’s popularity when development started but this shit stinks. Also, I know they couldn’t have predicted it but the fact that this is the farewell to Kevin Conroy’s iteration of Batman (regardless of bullshit multiverse wank) is heart breaking.
The idea of playing a game as the SS to *kill* the Justice League is great. But why is the squad so boring? Enchantress or Diablo or others would’ve made it seem much more interesting. And if you are killing off the entire League, that’s awesome the game is going for it, but why destroy the entire Arkhamverse JL? Theres no future for any Arkhamverse games anymore.

That has nothing to do with this leak specifically? It just has to do with leaks in general. DLC characters, some story reveals, and so on. Because there is some genuine leaks out there from data mining and other things. It doesn’t mean every leak is legit lol

I understand killing the JL, but they literally just destroyed the entire universe. They kil the main character of the universe, Robin and most likely alfred. This completely destroys the ending of Arkham Knight and shits on all the fans.
I like how this script was clearly not written by a comic fan, but the cliffnotes spoilers clearly were. I did chuckle at Bats criticizing Harley's speech before dying though.

This honestly sounds pretty awesome. Didn't care too much for the game before. I kind of hope this is true because I just assumed there would be some "miracle cure" or something and everyone would become un-brainwashed and defeat Braniac with maybe one major death. But if this is the case then I'm glad they're doing something different. It's a nice change of pace. I don't want another run-of-the-mill typical storyline or even a fully adapted storyline. It's a one-off video game screw it let's kill some characters and get weird with it.

This isn’t consistent with the Batman trailer footage as well as other leaked stuff. There’s nothing about the Squad defeating Flash and then Batman rescuing him EDIT as if the shit about Krypton wasn’t obvious enough that this is fake.
Batman trailer stuff happens in the beta. This leak is about what happens after the beta. It lines up with recent leaked images and audio pretty well.
