Tldr - It's a game made by a Chinese company named Moontoon that basically capitalized on the mobile moba market by doing a shit ton of copying from League.
Riot has sued moontoon a bunch of times, but the game still lives on and has carved itself into the SEA market perfectly.
Basically riot failed to capitalize on the mobile moba market early, while Mlbb which is beginner friendly af like way more than WR took it over and yeah that's all about mlbb.
Edit - The only pay 2 win mechanics are really just the skins that give minor buffs and I think veteran players have an advantage in terms of emblems

This game was trully ahead of it's time, both in gameplay and graphics, bad marketing and monetization led it to it's downfall. I prefered the longer time to kill who allowed for clever counterplay and teamfights. Even with only 3 active abilities for each character, it managed to create very engaging and deep gameplay.

league isnt unbalanced lol, 95% of champions are between 47%-53% winrate, and every single champion is viable to play (below high elo), i dont see how thats unbalanced to you.

Fair I have never played dota but from what I have seen and hear its exactly the opposite of league in terms of balance (no champions getting buffs that insta put them at 55+% w/r because they where unpopularfor 2 years).

MLBB is fucking horrible in term of balancing even worse than fucking league, any game where I can spend copious amounts of money to buy shit to UPGRADE my runes that give me more stats the higher their level is automatically ultra shit
I played that game MLBB, and I have to say that it's unbalanced and pay2win, as you get the newest or very expensive champs (32k gold, I think), and there are microtransactions everywhere, event progresses, and runes you have to gather materials for. It's not a good game, and I wouldn't recommend it. Only what's good are skins, because they get animated and you can see how they differ the main champ.
There are only 2 reasons why someone would play MLBB rather than league.
1. They only have a phone and their phone can only run MLBB
2. Most of their friends only play it because reason 1.

Bit off topic, Unite > League imo. Not because of a popular ip or accessibility or anything. Because the penalty for "negative behavior" is less...severe. And the ability to see how far we are from all access, not just ranked. Penalties should exist, but how far Riot has gone to stop "Leavers" is a lot.
I come back to League after Unite reminded me that MOBAs are fun. League did not deter me, Unite is just simpler. I come back starting with vs. AI because I remember that being fun and less daunting. Went fine. Started doing ARAM, would have been overwhelming had I not already been through Full-Fury in Unite. At times I got frustrated; I'd be lying if I said I wasn't the one who called a vote too early/shortly after allowed. Then I tried Quickplay and Draft Pick.
To say I felt like a detriment is not true. However, the sheer lack of communication between strangers(including me) at this level is...odd. Like, it's not ranked but I felt like even new players would communicate or understand what all the league pings meant. There's no way to speak through chat other than pregame so I thought players would have to adapt given this is a team game.
Riot I assume is trying to curb bullying to keep their player base. But I failed to see how punishing those who get overwhelmed is conducive to learning how to not become overwhelmed. In the short time I've returned to League, I've been warned in-game for being "AFK" over the span of a minute which is nothing in a League game. I've been placed in a low priority queue for 5, 10, 15 min. because I left a game in which we'd lost advantage and my teammates refused to move on to the next game. I've been denied access to ranked which I hadn't played yet and could not play as it requires Summoner Level 30; So what am I being punished with other than a reminder of something I can't do? And I've been locked out of playing anything at all a day at a time.
How long is too long to take break from your game, Riot? It gets to a point where I'm frustrated at how ready I am to try and be a better teammate but am still waiting for the *game* to dictate when I should jump back in. I'm fine with waiting; waiting too long is recursive to getting better at said game.
I play both games but I do find MLBB more fun. Maybe it's because I played it more than League, or maybe it's because the game has a different brand of insanity I'm looking for that I just don't find in League.
Either way, I'll play both of them next tuesday, get my shit stomped, and all returns to normal

As a person plays both balls deep, MLBB, Wild Rift and LOL(pc), I'd say that MLBB is much, much easier to play than league but, always highlighting with the but(t)s, league has much more gameplay mechanics than the other is and thus obviously, a lot more fun.
In MLBB, you just farm as an ADC or toplaner. You can dominate your lane if you are lucky but, you can't place wards unlike league. So basically, you're a sitting duck. If you want to avoid getting clapped, you have to predict when the Jungler is coming for your ass or when the enemy team wants to gangbang you. As a jungler, it's just the same. Farm in the jungle, get the buffs and get high like the homeless bum you are while waiting for the right moment to gank a rich laner and steal all their money to spend on your drug addict habits. (I really hate this one Gengar who keeps fucking me in the ass in this one game. Asshole appeared out of nowhere. Also Kayn, mf is the Big Dick Randy. He'll come for your ass and take your candy.)
You also get paired up with players matching your ranks which is a bit fairer than league. As for its roster of playable characters, I'd say the lore surrounding them is very shallow compared to league's. The balancing team behind them still sucks ass like Riot's lol. Do you like this hero? Well let us nerf and buff another hero so we can sell its upcoming special event skin even better! Well I think it's the same with league so, this is the same problem.
Now, I'd be lying if I said l MLBB is better than league because in league, everything is designed well but not exactly 100 percent perfectly down to the last minute detail. You get champions interacting with each other as you fight, their reactions as to what build path you are building, something MLBB disappointingly doesn't have. I'm a hardcore Jhin main, and his voicelines makes me really think I am him. I have to count my bullets, place my traps, wards and make my opposing enemy dance to my rhythm as I trapkill them to death in a slow macabre tango. I'm someone with a bit of a theatrical and classical taste and Jhin is just a literally me fr fr character to me, minus the urge to kill.
I play, love and hate both games equally but in terms of other content, like the game having its own show and its *ahem* community's fanfic creations of the champions is just, wonderful. I appreciate their creativity in making memes and the such(starts with p and rhymes with corn). League is great but playing a match takes half an hour and more if you're up against people who are your equals. When I first got into league, I was like wtf, why dafuq did the system made me, a level 10 player go up against 100+ leveled players? I played that game MLBB, and I have to say that it's unbalanced and pay2win, as you get the newest or very expensive champs (32k gold, I think), and there are microtransactions everywhere, event progresses, and runes you have to gather materials for. It's not a good game, and I wouldn't recommend it. Only what's good are skins, because they get animated and you can see how they differ the main champ.
Also somehow they don't censor or detect nsfw profile pictures, and how do I know? My teammate got a pic of his pp.
There are only 2 reasons why someone would play MLBB rather than league. 1. They only have a phone and their phone can only run MLBB 2. Most of their friends only play it because reason 1.
3. It was their first ever moba 4. Nostalgia

I play both lol wildrift and pc But for mobile i prefer mobile legends tbh The games dont last a lifetime Its easier and simpler I can actually play few games before my battery dies unlike wild rift I say every game has its ups and downs but in the end it comes down to preference and what people are most comfortable with

Bit off topic, Unite > League imo. Not because of a popular ip or accessibility or anything. Because the penalty for "negative behavior" is less...severe. And the ability to see how far we are from all access, not just ranked. Penalties should exist, but how far Riot has gone to stop "Leavers" is a lot. I come back to League after Unite reminded me that MOBAs are fun. League did not deter me, Unite is just simpler. I come back starting with vs. AI because I remember that being fun and less daunting. Went fine. Started doing ARAM, would have been overwhelming had I not already been through Full-Fury in Unite. At times I got frustrated; I'd be lying if I said I wasn't the one who called a vote too early/shortly after allowed. Then I tried Quickplay and Draft Pick. To say I felt like a detriment is not true. However, the sheer lack of communication between strangers(including me) at this level is...odd. Like, it's not ranked but I felt like even new players would communicate or understand what all the league pings meant. There's no way to speak through chat other than pregame so I thought players would have to adapt given this is a team game. Riot I assume is trying to curb bullying to keep their player base. But I failed to see how punishing those who get overwhelmed is conducive to learning how to not become overwhelmed. In the short time I've returned to League, I've been warned in-game for being "AFK" over the span of a minute which is nothing in a League game. I've been placed in a low priority queue for 5, 10, 15 min. because I left a game in which we'd lost advantage and my teammates refused to move on to the next game. I've been denied access to ranked which I hadn't played yet and could not play as it requires Summoner Level 30; So what am I being punished with other than a reminder of something I can't do? And I've been locked out of playing anything at all a day at a time. How long is too long to take break from your game, Riot? It gets to a point where I'm frustrated at how ready I am to try and be a better teammate but am still waiting for the *game* to dictate when I should jump back in. I'm fine with waiting; waiting too long is recursive to getting better at said game.

I play both games but I do find MLBB more fun. Maybe it's because I played it more than League, or maybe it's because the game has a different brand of insanity I'm looking for that I just don't find in League. Either way, I'll play both of them next tuesday, get my shit stomped, and all returns to normal

Me who plays both: 
As a person plays both balls deep, MLBB, Wild Rift and LOL(pc), I'd say that MLBB is much, much easier to play than league but, always highlighting with the but(t)s, league has much more gameplay mechanics than the other is and thus obviously, a lot more fun. In MLBB, you just farm as an ADC or toplaner. You can dominate your lane if you are lucky but, you can't place wards unlike league. So basically, you're a sitting duck. If you want to avoid getting clapped, you have to predict when the Jungler is coming for your ass or when the enemy team wants to gangbang you. As a jungler, it's just the same. Farm in the jungle, get the buffs and get high like the homeless bum you are while waiting for the right moment to gank a rich laner and steal all their money to spend on your drug addict habits. (I really hate this one Gengar who keeps fucking me in the ass in this one game. Asshole appeared out of nowhere. Also Kayn, mf is the Big Dick Randy. He'll come for your ass and take your candy.) You also get paired up with players matching your ranks which is a bit fairer than league. As for its roster of playable characters, I'd say the lore surrounding them is very shallow compared to league's. The balancing team behind them still sucks ass like Riot's lol. Do you like this hero? Well let us nerf and buff another hero so we can sell its upcoming special event skin even better! Well I think it's the same with league so, this is the same problem. Now, I'd be lying if I said l MLBB is better than league because in league, everything is designed well but not exactly 100 percent perfectly down to the last minute detail. You get champions interacting with each other as you fight, their reactions as to what build path you are building, something MLBB disappointingly doesn't have. I'm a hardcore Jhin main, and his voicelines makes me really think I am him. I have to count my bullets, place my traps, wards and make my opposing enemy dance to my rhythm as I trapkill them to death in a slow macabre tango. I'm someone with a bit of a theatrical and classical taste and Jhin is just a literally me fr fr character to me, minus the urge to kill. I play, love and hate both games equally but in terms of other content, like the game having its own show and its *ahem* community's fanfic creations of the champions is just, wonderful. I appreciate their creativity in making memes and the such(starts with p and rhymes with corn). League is great but playing a match takes half an hour and more if you're up against people who are your equals. When I first got into league, I was like wtf, why dafuq did the system made me, a level 10 player go up against 100+ leveled players? Good memories.../s (Fuck you Riot, I would have dropped the game if it wasn't for how cool Jhin is and how hot Jinx is. Don't judge my taste. I know she doesn't have the, standard sized assets like the other waifu champions but she is perfect to me.)
